@@LeandroSolano-rv9spI’m pretty sure someone made a photoshopped rendition of what that would look like (with the standard perfect strike freedom instead of the rouge), no clue where to find it though
Got a feeling that for the Rising Freedom, Mecha's going to have some slight conniptions. That sticker sheet is... to say that it is terrifying is an understatement.
I will say something else on plastic on plastic kits, I built the hg Calibarn just a couple of weeks ago but now its arms for the ball joint that fits in is loose, this happened due to excessive movement of the joint which starts to grind away the plastic inside of the socket that it goes into, making it so there less friction between the ball and socket. Now this is only from excessive movement of the joint so keep that in mind.
I have the Kotobukiya version of the Huckebein Mk-III. It's the king of my backlog. I hope Bandai releases a Trombe version (but it's probably going to be P-Bandai)
This is a color variant of the Perfect Strike Freedom that came out in the Battlogue line. I thought that was a great line and enjoy this kit a lot. Highly recommended. The MS is great and the accessories are part of what make it worth it.
ive said it before and ive said it again, the perfect strike addon doesnt work that well with strike freedom shoulders. the strike's shoulders actually had attachment mounts so it didnt look too bad. reusing strike freedom's hips is also a mistake because the side skirts had a rectagular PC instead of round so theres no sideskirt rotation, limiting articulation and posing
Mecha Gaikotsu, will you think of doing a review on the Supreme Evoultion Stargazer? It’s another third party kit but one of the coolest gundam’s I’ve ever seen, and I want to see what you think of it personally before I buy it
I recently built the HGUC Mk II Titans revive and the slot polycaps for the ankles were incredibly loose. It shares the same polycap runner as most modern HGs, including this kit. I have the HGUC Mk II AEUG colors from 2015 and it's somehow sturdier than a freshly built version of the same exact mold. I have the original Perfect Strike Freedom Gundam as well and that kit is still quite solid. The worst part about these polycaps is the inconsistency. I'm wondering if that polycap runner is starting to suffer from mold degradation.
It's almost definitely just the inconsistency, Mecha tends to overpose which is a lot worse for polycap kits, there's a significant chance that if he got the same polycaps as you he'd call this kit bronze tier
if I remember correctly the reason for the Strike Rouge's pink colors is that they maxed out the Phase Shift armor settings making it "tougher" than the Strike Gundam's Phase Shift armor.
I've got few things to say for this video: 1) I can't believe this is a recolour. That is not a P-Bandai. Well it may be a disguise P-Bandai. (I don't know) 2) I'm pretty sure Mecha did two full review (minus articulation) for this mold. 3) If you manage to get the revive HG Strike Freedom, can you compare it to the old one.
@@Cooldude-kc5wfRight? I've seen images and yea... Lots of stickers on these upcoming SEED Freedom HGs. I'm likely going to skip the HGs and wait for the eventual MGs.
8:09 @MechaGaikotsu I’ve not noticed anything… would you mind sharing which kits you’ve seen this on? Edit: Just a thought, It could possibly be due to top coating the pieces while assembled. A lacquer topcoat, for example, I could see potentially fusing two separate pieces of plastic if they sat pressed against each other while it dried.
If there's anything that makes me so worried for the new Gunpla we're gonna get from SEED Freedom movie, its the Rising Freedom Gundam which sadly seems to use the same V-Fin design with Strike Freedom which has the same issues you mentioned on this model of the Perfect Strike Freedom Rouge, which also happens tobe the worst piece as it is so fragile that mine broke upon touching them while trying to piece them on. It's a shame that I can already feel my disappointment and dissatisfaction on the new Rising Freedom Gundam model kit's V-fin which seems similar to Strike Freedom Gundam's V-fin. Fingers crossed that won't happen again.

I know Gundam and Bandai are the money and algorithm winners. But I'd love to hear your favourite kits in general from 2023 - it was. Banner year for 3rd Party.
So there are new hg seed kits coming this year? I hope they're as nice as the witch from mercury kits. Those no-polycap builds are super solid and amazing for customising!
I have been trying to find an energy/beam shield that would work with the 30MM Spinatia, or a 30MSisters kit. This looks like it would be great for that! Would you be willing to try this out the next time you do some kit swapping with 30MM stuff?
I have the original perfect strike freedom (which is just the 2016 hg strike freedom) and the shield is attached to an attachment with a non-standard rectangle peg, so you probably can't use it in a custom that easily
You're right about that. I've seen some leaked images of the actual runners and it had a massive sticker sheet. It's not looking too promising at all in that aspect. I'm likely going to wait for the MGs.

How much do you usually pay for shipping though from HLJ? I notice the kits are less cost then my local stores but the shipping for me ranges from like $25-50ish.
It mostly depends on the size of your order, and using the privateware house to bundle them is key. I have this kit, the HG YF-21, and a couple action base 7's in my private warehouse right now. Shipping options range from $38 to $55. I had an order of 5 HGs ship for $47 a few months ago. In my experience, one kit will probably be cheaper locally, and two could go either way, but three or more kits is usually the tipping point where HLJ becomes the cheapest option. If it's a preorder/ new release, you'll also get it from HLJ a month or two earlier than you would from a local retailer.
@ThreeTimesFaster I literally just had one Epyon kit in my cart and shipping was at the lowest like $25 Canadian with like 6 week shipping or $66 for like 2 week shipping.
