8 of the books you mentioned have been add to my ever-growing TBR.
October gave me three 5-star reads:
Juniper Bean Resorts to Murder by Gracie Ruth Mitchell
Extra Normal by Kate Alice Marshall
Keep Moving, a memoir by Dick Van Dyck (I have loved this actor since I was a toddler!)
    November 5-star reads:
Making it So, a memoir by Patrick Stewart. My favorite Captain in the Star Trek franchise.
Born to Fly: the First Women’s Air Race Across America, by Steve Sheinkin (non-fiction)
December (5 star except where noted.)
Maisie Dobbs by Jaqueline Winspeare. Book 1 in the Maisie Dobbs Series. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Let it Crow, Let it Crow, Let It Crow, Bk 34 in the Meg Langslow series by Donna Andrews.
On a Night Like This, by Liz Maverick
A Year-Round Christmas Mystery Series with four 4-star and two 5-star reads. Author: Vicki Delany.

I felt sinilarly with Killers of the Flower Moon.
So glad you enjoyed Divine Rivals!
I love hearing you say you felt no guilt about not reading much in December. I sooo firmly believe that reading should not be a "have to", but a "want to". 💞

I read killers of the flower moon in 2021. I found it interesting overall, but definitely agree that there were some parts that were boring compared to others. I had good reading months in October and November, but December was a little bit mediocre. I finally got around to reading true biz in October, and I loved it! It was one of my top three books of the year.

@@SorryBookedSolidExactly! (not so much "proud of you for not reading" but "proud of you for not feeling bad about a temporary shift in vibe")
