Thats not ONLY a tiny dutch oven. Whatcha have there sir is a leprechaun pot. He took his gold and ran off when he saw you rooting around his hiding place. I am of Irish heritage. My grandmother used to tell me all sorts of stories about leprechauns and irish sprites and woodland fairies. KEEP THAT!
The old lunch bucket is the kind used by coal miners back in the day. The cup covered the area where some necessities were carried. Things like snuff, salt tablets, & any medication they may need to take. The top tray was for the food. Usually biscuit sandwiches. They filled the bottom with water. The miner owners did not furnish fresh water. The miners had to provide their own. The water also kept their lunch cool. And, that lovely picnic table you found is a dandy. We had one, my grandkids had one, and my great grandkids have one too. You can still buy them.
Wow 😳 look how big Houston is now, no little boy anymore, he looks handsome, love his hair and curls! No need of a haircut! I hope they don't cut too close!! 😣 Glad to see him!
That little Dutch oven was the way that door-to-door salesman would show their cast-iron goods to ladies of the home. Because cast-iron was so heavy they didn’t want to carry a whole set of pots and skillets so they carried miniatures. My grandmother bought a set of miniature for me when I was a little girl, many years ago.
That olive drab coleman lantern is a U.S. Military issue lantern. With the original box & lantern, if you wish to sell it will probably bring around $135.00 to $150.00. It's rare to find one "New" in the box. Don't throw the box away, great find!
Loving your videos and viewing from Ireland , on that lunch box i see this. Early 1920'S Antique American Industrial Factory Lunchroom Compact Galvanized Tin Lunchbox Or "Dinner Pail" With Detachable Coffee Cup And Drop Handle.
Wow, all the memories. The little Dutch oven came with a double bellied wood stove, a Dutch oven with a lid, a skillet, a fire poker, as a camp kit in the late 60s and early 70s. The miners lunch box from early 20s. The pocket fisherman was really popular in the 70s. Those lanterns are original Coleman kerosene lanterns. The travel picnic table was very popular in the 70s. The overcast fishing trout pole is nice. The reels were about $200 in the 60s. Considered top of the line must have way back then. For me, it's hard to think of as antiques. They were all during my early lifetime, now 60. Many treasures from eras gone by. Sad to see you look stumped on what some of those family treasures are. The stories they could tell. Great hunting through those memories, treasures, historic moments.
When my dad died in 2007, I was the exutor of his estate. One of my jobs was cleaning out his house and getting it ready for auction. I went through it like it was an archeological dig. He was a borderline horder. It took me 4 months to get it all gone through and everything distributed to the folks he wanted to have it. Like you, I found many treasures. For me, since this was the house I grew up in, it all held memories and had meaning.
@Paula paul This above reply is a scammer please don't reply.. I hope you already knew that but I reported it and wanted to let you know... I hope that it gets removed as I don't like scammers. On a better note I loved going to my grandmother's house as a kid because we would go on treasure hunts by going through her old barn and see all the old stuff she had in it. Also in her basement is an old root cellar that was always cool to go in there she used to can a lot of the stuff she grew in her garden and would keep the food in the root cellar. My grandmother is now 103 years old and still in fairly good health. I love visiting with her and listening to her stories about memories she had as a kid and throughout her life. I cherish the memories I have with her 💗
That Coleman lantern is worth A LOT ($200+) in the original box! My brother is a collector and I've seen some of his Red glass globes (Glass Only) go for almost $600. The month and year it was made will be stamped into the bottom.
I'm sure I won't be the first old dude to tell you, but my heart jumped when you pulled out those old files and rasps. You can file those into SUCH A KNIFE, if you have no other need of them! I never met my Grandads. DADD Cash died three years before I hatched, but I've got his "old file knife" ! I worked up my Dad's, brothers' and nephews' deer even after my hips went with those old knives. What an edge, they kept!
This brought back memories for me. When we held an estate sale when my parents passed away. My dad had a tool shop & several big sheds, Couldn't believe the stuff people bought out of those sheds. One person's trash is some else's treasure.
That fold up picnic table is what our kids had growing up as we were camping. It was easy to put away and put up. Our wore out after many, many years of good camping meals on it, Playing cards, etc. Seeing that table brought many great memories. 🥰🤗
We had a table similar to that when we were growing up. We're really meant for kids not adults. I think ours was red or blue. I had rough brothers so it didn't last long lol
Likewise standard table carried on holidays, packed well into car with all the other camping gear. Still have one in good condition. Ours dates back to 1960s...
Dutch oven was probably a salesman’s model. Instead of dragging around full sized products, the manufacturers would make identical salesmen’s models to carry in their cases for display to the customer
Daniel needs to fix the picnic table up. They're an antique and so cool. We had one also when i was going up plus a table that slotted together to seat 4 adults ( 1 sheet of 4 x 8 plywood made that table ). Once disassembled it fit in the truck of any car, so neat.
They sold full sets of miniature iron dishes for collectors and children. My grandma bought me a whole set, but it disappeared from her house after she passed. It was so fun to play with
Got to love Daniel’s sense of humor when he found the toy mouse, I thought Weston was going to make another door. Then he got EmmaLee with it. Y’all sure found some nice treasures, old lanterns sell for a pretty penny here in NC.
How fun to be able hunt for lil treasure's in that old place. I love the dutch oven Weston found! Total hoot catching Weston with a girly mag and the rubber rat antics are awesome!
I LOVE how excited Houston gets when his eggs hatch!!!! Some pretty neat treasures you found at the property too. Thanks for another great video and for sharing your family life with us!!❤
My husband had those "dutch ovens" for melting down steel for his reloading of bullets. I still have a few of them, since I still have not sold off any of his reloading equipment.
Keep digging Daniel! I'm glad you appreciate the little treasures your finding I love that old stuff made so so much better then the stuff you buy now!
We are renovating my great grandparents house that also use to be a small homestead that has been abandoned for years now. It’s amazing all the old treasures you can find that give you a glimpse back in time!

That little yellow picnic table was just like the one my grandma had for us kids. She took it everywhere so we would always have a place to sit and eat or play quietly.
Weston definitely has found the most priceless treasure on the hunt! I married my wife 1983!! Yes women definitely had a different style, big hair and goofy clothes
That's some pretty neat stuff. I bet Lester's dad PawPaw would love to have any cast-iron pans you don't want, he restores and uses them. Enjoy your new adventures. Blessings 🙌

We use to have a picnic table like that. It’s hard to keep our kid’s name straight. The kids laugh at me. Yes it’s a lunch pal. So many goodies in that garage.
Daniel that picnic table is a real treasure you clean it up and just keep it in the back of your truck or take it to your cabin that is really neat and the fact that it’s made out of metal makes it even better
17:43 - the tiny Dutch Oven/hanging pot would have been for a child's play cooking set or for a doll house. The thing you found earlier is definitely an old lunchbox.
The big butter knife is an ink knife used in the old printing industry to put ink on the presses. Y’all got a lot of neat old stuff to save or sell and I’m happy to see the recycling too. 👍 Happy Turkey Egg Hatch Day! 🐣 God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Love watching you all picking through the treasures! Good luck with the new little turkeys! Hope you can keep them alive. They would make nice new animals on the homestead!
Hi Arms family. Lots of treasures on the new property. I'm looking forward to the pocket Fisher challenge video! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us 👍
Daddy’s twin brother owned a hatchery in Cassville MO and I remember him sleeping at the hatchery on an Army cot when hatch day was imminent. They lived in the country in a house next to a turkey ranch and I remember the first order of the day was to clean the turkey poop off the front porch.
Those Playboys are collectible. The frying pans and cast iron objects could be valuable depending on brand. A lot of good things to be found as antiques. Good Hunting fellas

Daniel, you were having to much fun messing with Weston! Definitely made me laugh! 😂
That copper looked like a copper guitar pick similar to what Eddie Van Halen used to use.
My husband told me about your channel. I got him an Arms cap and me a Do your Best Shirt. Thank you for educating us all.
Daniel....Danny from Deep South Homestead would LOVE, LOVE,LOVE that Farmall stool. He is Mr Farmall.

No, they think it is trash
We had on just like it for camping.
The picnic table and old “lunch box” are for camping. The lunch box is used as a way to cook beans, boil water for coffee. Cool finds.
The dutch oven was a sample for the castiron company saw one sell on Ebay for $50.00 ! So score! 😀good job Weston!
Keep the motors separate from the scrap. You get more $$ that way from the copper in the motors.
That frog gigg we use to gigg Flounder with them. Oh and yes that is a lunch box from probably 1800's
They sold full sets of miniature iron dishes for collectors and children. My grandma bought me a whole set, but it disappeared from her house after she passed. It was so fun to play with
