You are right we should not run towards materialistic world. And our efforts should towards sustainability. In india majority of the population is making their efforts to earn basic needs. What our mind do is maximize what we see around us. We need to teach people how to use resources available to them efficiently and sustainably. As our mind evolves it has creativity and imagination power which will create things because people are different some will create and some will destroy and it's a bitter truth. We need to understand the difference between our passion,profession and life goals.we need to also check our values what is most important to us according to our age,experience and life circumstances.Thanks I learned a lot from your podcast and videos.

now u came on right track . i already have left reading western specially american self help books.. we have vast treasure of wisdom in our vedic heritage . first we should finish this . after finishing this u will find no need to reaad those self help books of west .
I still feel we should read both types with an open mind. Not believing completely on any but picking things with great observations of the reality of our own life
