@@elliotthiessen7492 not by the inlet in the middle but right before the bridge.. Yes.. Trolling motor will hold my position even with a current or waves. Maybe even by the pier side on a nice, calm day. But nothing further out than the bridge.. 😁 I'm crazy but not stupid 😎
@@brianflowers2517 I really never target them before. I caught many. They are around especially by that North jetty and the south jetty by the beach side. They like to hang out where the rocks meet the sand.. They hide well over under/over sand and attack..

I launched from the boat ramp by the waters edge bait shop. The big one. It's like 5 minutes from there 😎 big ships don't make wakes at all. Boats are the worst 😂but if you have a stable kayak, you will be fine. Thanks for watching 🤙
My brother, it's so safe with my Old Town Sportsman Autopilot 120 kayak on the water even on the port. Waves comes but just redirect your kayak and takes it nicely. Never had a problem with it. Big ships do not make waves at all. It's the smaller boats that won't slow down for you the ones give you the big waves. But, just don't stay middle of the channel 👍 I launch my kayak from the big boat ramp by the bait shop. It's 5 minutes to the north jetty. Thanks for watching 🤙

How deep is it -at the north jetty?
From the rocks to the first buoy starts from 4 feet to 15 feet and big drop to 40 feet in the middle. Sheepshead found around 7 to 10 feet
