I have been watching you since early 2016. One of the things I like about your videos is that they are honest, genuine, down to earth, no drama, and see the areas you visit and learn about the areas.
Brian, we love you. Your humilty, honesty, and spirituality has been, and is ever increasingly, a reassuring and comforting oasis in a world overrun with fast-talking, product-peddling, I-know-the-answer, "I'm going to get rich on TouTube", narcissists. Thank you. Here's to many more happy years doing whatever you choose. 🙂
I took the whole scoop of seeds as is from the cantaloupe and dumped them in a bucket of dirt and lightly covered them. Surprise! They came up and I sniped the "micro greens" . Those tiny plants tasted just like a slice of ripe delicious cantaloupe!
Brian congratulations on your 100k subscribers! Thanks for sharing with us. I’ve following your journey since you started, and live vicariously through your channel.😎✌️
You were my first glimpse into van life. Thank you for sharing the beauty of nature, the solitude, the joys, the challenges, the adventures, the stillness, the excitement and the companionship of Kelly and Hobbs. 100K and growing and you can enjoy life in every possible way. Peace, love and blessings to you.
thanks for the update Brian. You are a good man with a great head on your shoulders. You always seem to be well organized, which is a wonderful trait to have. Hobbs is so blessed to have a friend like you. I can see how much he respects you. Enjoy your time in the sun and let the grace of God wash over you, Kelly and Hobbs. Hugs, Louise
Great Talk. Your Channel has become one of the absolute best on youtube for mobile living. You and Foresty Forest come to mind. Both very humble and dedicated to this life style. Thank You.
Been a devoted follower of your since almost from your start. You're the real thing. Like others here write, you sharing your life with us lifts our spirits and renews our faith in humanity. Thanks!
Thank you for giving Hobbs a safe, secure, home with love. Our first family dog (Duke) was not good with other dogs but was the most kind and loving to all our family members so I understand the challenges.
Hats off to you Brian, As you gladly profess. Your peregrinations, Doing better with less. 250 trail hopping, or small town be-bopping, I see what you doin' B, Keeping our spirits free. Don't stop revealing, We's hooked on the feeling! 🎉🥳🔥😉😎
I have been following you for years, I just like you are upfront, and honest, and I love how you put your videos together, and your videography. Keep doing what you are doing, we all love it! Keep growing, and don't doubt yourself. Take care!
Hello Brian - been watching since 2014 - I don’t comment often but am always watching. Wanted to say thank you for doing what you do - your videos are always enjoyable and for myself, a working stiff with a mortgage and kids, the videos are almost therapeutic in ways - always a reminder that options exist , there are other ways to live this life. Keep going. You’re doing great and your positivity spreads, and is contagious.
Brian I have been watching your channel grow for years and am so happy you hit 100K !! You deserve it my friend. Keep doing what you do. I feel like I am part of your family. Well done. 👊
Very interesting hearing about your earlier life, please don’t change the videos or yourself, let nature do the talking with the beautiful peaceful places you visit and share
Yea Buddy ! 100 K !! It's been a great experience meeting you and Kelly, and picking you to video my van has been the best choice I could have made, wow, over 69 K views ! Doing the caravan with y'all was a high point of my van life. I hope you will make it back east to Florida sometime soon. There are some winter seasonal jobs here too. We have a lot of snowbirds here for the winter season. You have been a real friend, I'm so happy I met y'all. HAPPY TRAILS Y'ALL !
I have no idea how long I have been watching because time flys by so fast. My wife just reminded me that we have been in our new location for 4 years, so I know I started watching before that. But I do know I have enjoyed your videos, and they give me the will power to reach my goals.
People are comming back to your channel or staying all the time because you are one of the very few honest, humble and relaxed van life guys. No clickbait, no drama, just life how it is. You are one reason that I now already also live my fifth year on the road. Congratulations for ten years on the road. Thanks for all your videos.
Hobbs is so cute! Is he a Scottish Terrier (or another type of terrier?) He's beautiful. You should give him more of your cantaloupe! His mouth was watering!
No one is ever going to care if you hit the upload button, and the video isn't perfect, and you shouldn't either...You're a wealth of information, hope, and proof of concept for lots of people..Congrats on 100,000..I was a very early subscriber..You were living in parking lots in San Diego if I remember correctly, it's been almost a decade..
I have enjoyed watching you since 2019 and consider you a true pioneer. You inspired me to believe I could not only survive living in my car, but thrive. I bought a mobile home in 2020, and still miss the freedom of living in a vehicle. I just retired this year and am looking forward to my forever home van build. Stay free and do what you love! Happy trails!
Brain thank you so much you add so much to my life. Like I have said before I am homebound, not able to go out into the community not able to have people coming in and out of my house because of a compromised immune system. Thank you so much for your videos.
100K!! Big congrats .. Been watching your channel for a few years of those 10 ... I didn't think watching someone cut up a cantaloupe could be so captivating LOL but this was one of the best vids of yours imo. Best on going forward.
Congratulations on reaching 100K, been watching since covid hit several years back...ignore the haters on TH-cam, just a bunch of cowards hiding behind a computer screen with no life of their own.
Thank you Brian. You had such a captivated audience of one in your van. The little cutie Hobbs!😊. Intently keeping an eye on that cantaloupe! 😊 I've just about reached 6 yrs. Will be in March. Seems to have gone so quickly. Just had another birthday and wonder more, just how long will I be able to continue. So many of us are thinking about that future of ours. One of so many out here, watching for and loving each and every video that you work so hard on Brian. They are such a credit to you. There are countless people who have watched you, who have found solace in your videos, your calm, beautiful ways. Me included. And I adore these chats! 👍🌞 Wishing you only the Very Best in Life Brian. May the roads ahead keep you safe 🕊 ☮ 💌 🙋🏼♀️ 🚐 🌏
I’ve been watching since well before you rid of the dodge van, what keeps me coming back is that your agenda is “ pack it in, pack it out! Leave it in better condition than you found it. Your parents raised you up well.
I remember quite a while back, you talked about your lifestyle not being ideal for a pet. But now, recently, when Hobbs had few options you stepped up. You put yourself second behind an orphaned dog. Big hearts, you and Kelly!!
In 2015 my family and I ended up in a homeless shelter. The circumstances behind that were so extreme I didn’t really have hope that it would ever change. But I worked hard and got us out of the shelter. I discovered your channel while I was in the shelter. In late 2016 when you were really getting your feet under you, so was I. I figured out how to support a family on one income. My wife is mentally ill and parts of the year she can work and sometimes she can’t. 9 years later the kids are grown and we’re kind of free. I seemed to find parallels of my life in your videos. Knowing that if things ever got really bad we could just live in a vehicle and have a pretty decent like gave me hope. Seeing you improve over time gave me hope. I really appreciate your lived experiences. Hope to shake your hand one day.
Brian, Thanks for the recap and wish you the best. You mentioned possible visit to Colorado. We live on the "Western Slope" just 17 miles from the UT state line. Colorado National Monument is a couple miles to the south of us and along I-70. Pay our area a visit, you won't be disappointed with the scenery. Need a place to park for a few days, we have 7 acres and room for both you and Kelly. More than welcome and price is right - free!
Love your videos here because they are real experiences and not manufactured just for content. You can tell that what you are doing in the videos is probably what you would do if you werent filming and there is not alot of that on TH-cam anymore.
Man, when you said you and Kelly couldn't put Hobbs down and are willing to adapt to his special needs, my eyes started leaking. I've always really enjoyed your videos and have been following you for several years (not sure exactly when I started), and have always appreciated your humility and honesty, but that statement just blew me away. Subscriber for as long as you're on TH-cam my man!
Hey Brian! If you and the clan need a place to rooste for the eclipse, I have plenty of room. Level parking, full hook ups, private area in the country, no crowds. You can use my house, shower, laundry, anything you need. Large open acres for Hobbs to run. I am 1 hr south of Ft Smith so right in the path.
I remember when you were working at Adventure City, and have been following you ever since. I’m happy that you are happy with your life, you have earned it, and it seems to suit you. You show it’s not necessary to have all the answers, it’s ok to learn as you go. Including learning what is important and meaningful to you. It’s been fun tagging along and watching your growth. Looking forward to the next 10!
Been following from the beginning… you are one of the few I was watching that made me feel like I could actually live this life style. Been doing it since 4/2018! Thank you for continuing to share with us all!
Brian, you are truly one of the nicest people on the planet! I always enjoy your videos and will continue to watch you as long as you put them out here. Thank you for all you do, and happy vanniversary!
As a "full timer" since 1993, I've really appreciated your videos. I think the first video of yours I watched was when you had a flat tire on your old van...with an "ill fitting" spare rim.😂 Not sure what year that was.(?) I look forward towards your videos always. ❤ We traveled with our little dog for a few years but at 14 years of age she had a stroke and her quality of life dwindled...that was a sad time but she lived a fun filled life, and traveled much of the Country.
I personally think just the day in the life makes some of the best videos. I don't think its necessary to try and make it a big adventure. Its relaxing and peaceful to watch this lifestyle and to see the scenery around you. Also having an authentic personality and not being fake is what we also enjoy.
I have been following you for a long time. My favorite things: watching the cooking while living in a van, especially enjoy the coffee in the morning, your beautiful camera work and your eye for beauty in nature around you, when you were carving spoons, the hikes, the summer jobs, your music, and your wonderful personality. Really enjoy your videos with Kelli - sp? Keep being you and do what you enjoy. It really shows in your videos.
THANK YOU BRIAN! your videos inspired me to hit the road in 2017 and im still going full time with no end in site. your vidoes are an absolute inspiration
Your and other video rv’ers have inspired me to fly free. Sold house, bought class b rv, been cross country 2 x’s now, with my dog BEBE. Thanks Carol, New Orleans, LA French quarter musician.
Hey Brian, my son and I met you at that 2014 RTR. We were in a red cargo trailer and I used to post a lot on Cheap Rv Living as Masterplumber. Been following along ever since. I have a place north of Colorado Springs. If you get out this direction and need a base for a couple days or so you and Kelly are more than welcome. We have plenty of room in the trees and I have a pretty well equipped shop if you need to get any projects done. God Bless.
I Love your channel, Thank you for sharing your Awesome lives with us! Thank you again so much, you make a difference in many , many, lives! Thank you!✌😎👍🤙
CONGRATULATIONS Brian!!! 100k!!! Been with you a long time and you have done a great job sticking with it. I am super happy for you and wish you the best!
I think I’ve been following you for 5 years now. Congrats on 10 years of van life. I have always enjoyed your videos and when I first retired I thought I might give your lifestyle a go. Then my granddaughter was born and she became an important part of my life. We all picked our paths for our own reasons. I’m as comfortable with mine as you are with yours. I will continue to enjoy your journey and your videos as long as you wish to make them. I hope 2024 is a wonderful year for you! I’m a real dog lover so thank you for making a home for Hobbs and give him a hug for me!❤
If you blow and engine or tranny in that truck, don't be so quick to get rid of it. I like the older models. There are things on the older models that you can't find on the newer ones. And there are things on the newer ones that you don't want on the older ones. I have rebuilt almost my entire van now. The engine and tranny have both been rebuilt along with much of the front suspension. I've had to replace almost all the door handles now. Ford you know. LOL. But now I'm a pro at it. I know my van very well because I've been through so much mechanically with it. I will most likely rebuild again if need be. The prices for new and used vehicles now are just ridiculous. My 1997 Ford E 350 one ton van is still running around the country just fine. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Hobbs. We all love him dearly.
Been watching your videos for a couple of years, and now on my own for the last seven months. It is always a pleasure seeing what you guys are up to. I can totally relate to your joy of nomad living. Take good care and please give Hobbs one more piece of cantaloupe. I think he was hoping for one more bite during the whole video. Cheers!
I built my current van in 2014 and used to watch a YTer named Dan Travels. Back then there was very few of us living OTR. I think I started watching your videos in 2016. Now YT is taken over by "solo female" VanLife in their bikinis and clearly don't live OTR regardless of their claims. It's all about turning viewership into money. I watch your videos because they are authentic vanlife. It must be hard to keep fresh content. You do a great job of that. Thanks for your work on YT.
Congrats on 100K!! We love you! I personally don't feel like a stranger to you (although to you, I might be)! It's like you're in my Family and Friends circle. If I were to run into you somewhere it would be like the joy I feel when I see an old friend I haven't seen in ages! To me, (I speak for myself) of course. I like you as a human being, because you've consistently been real over all the videos you've done for us. You're considerations are GOOD! You've always been real, not greedy with trying for Clickbait titles etc. So yeah, I'm actually rambling myself. Best to you always, Brian!! Lots of love to you and yours!
I admire you for making the changes in your life. We are self employed in the construction world in Southern California . ( San Diego area). As you can imagine, we understand why you’d feel the need for doing something different and slowing down. Good for you! Enjoy your life and what you’re now doing! It sounds wonderful! Enjoying your videos too, so Thank you!
Hi Brain, I look forward to your videos. I always learn something about nature, cooking, people, different jobs or Nobs. Most of us are exploring the world through your eyes.
Dude... I appreciate your professionalism and work ethic but your videos are the bomb! The 3 of you have been an extension of my family. Abide my friend.
Been watching you for a long time and it's always therapeutic and uplifting as well as honest. That's a unique combination.....thanks for sharing with us! For those of us still in the corporate world you inspire me to get out more and put more enrichment into my life.
I have been watching you since early 2016. One of the things I like about your videos is that they are honest, genuine, down to earth, no drama, and see the areas you visit and learn about the areas.
Right I have a bucket list of places that I want to visit someday and most of that list is places that Brian has been to and showed me.
Relax, over 100,000 people like me find you to be a quality person in this one way relationship. Know your videos are appreciated my so many.
You are one of the kindest people out there. Your life with Kelly and Hobbs is the highlight of my week.

I enjoy your videos because your not selling us gadgets. Keep up the solid content.
I love the doggie ears. Been here since the beginning
I have been watching since the beginning, my wife and I love you.. Keep doing what your doing! ❤❤😊🇨🇦🇨🇦

Congratulations dude, big achievement 👏👍🙂
I’ve been with you since you started. You’re a great person. I’ve learned so much from you. Thanks Chicago loves you.❤
Your videos and life are very respectful thank you so much.
Stay happy
😊
I'm not looking for vanlife but I do find your lifestyle interesting. But what keeps me coming back is your warmth and your humility.
So glad you found the life you love.
HEY! Hello Brian , Kelly and Mr. Hobbs!
Been watching you since the beginning
As a "full timer" since 1993, I've really appreciated your videos.
I think the first video of yours I watched was when you had a flat tire on your old van...with an "ill fitting" spare rim.😂
Not sure what year that was.(?) I look forward towards your videos always. ❤
We traveled with our little dog for a few years but at 14 years of age she had a stroke and her quality of life dwindled...that was a sad time but she lived a fun filled life, and traveled much of the Country.
100k 😎 Good job. It's too bad you haven't been able to do a proper Alaska trip apart from work. The whole drive up the Alcan would be something.
I remember most all of that .
I have to thank you for helping me I’m disabled and watching your videos allows me to join you on your journey
I’ve seen all your videos. Don’t change a thing. This grandma loves you.
I personally think just the day in the life makes some of the best videos. I don't think its necessary to try and make it a big adventure. I have a place north of Colorado Springs. If you get out this direction and need a base for a couple days or so you and Kelly are more than welcome. We have plenty of room in the trees and I have a pretty well equipped shop if you need to get any projects done. God Bless.
been following your adventures for a few years now, glad you're still at it! wew 100k subs!!!
I’m a real dog lover so thank you for making a home for Hobbs and give him a hug for me!❤
Gate guarding gigs are an option, although they are mainly peak season.
Happy vananniversary
Peace
Brian you do a great job, love your talks .love your channel, god bless safe travels.❤
🤙🏼
Been watching you for a long time and it's always therapeutic and uplifting as well as honest. That's a unique combination.....thanks for sharing with us! For those of us still in the corporate world you inspire me to get out more and put more enrichment into my life.
