after imitating mario, MX has managed to perfectly recreate marios personality in attempt to fool people. however, somehow that little bit of mario still sticks with him even when he reveals his true form, making him appear really menacing and scary, but is brave and a true hero just like the mario we know and love. he isn't chasing bf out of malicious intent, they're just screwing around! as for why lucas is dead, while yes, that is actually him, he had a extra life so it's okay.
