      I love the epilogue of Fawn Brody's "No Man Knows My History." She highlights the Church's monument to Smith's birthplace in Vermont by calling it "ingenuously deceptive." Only, the best part is the inscription the Church itself had carved on it, "The Joseph Smith Monument, the World's Largest Polished Shaft."

      Mormonish and Rebecca Biblioteca have a recording of them behind closed doors before the Fairview city council meeting coaching church leaders to say that the religious needs of the members differ from place to place... absolute lie of course ... and that it supposedly has not been revealed in what ways the needs differ. So lying for the Lord and Mormonish would say...

    I'm sure they thought being bullies in small towns and cities wouldn't gather much attention. In a way, they may be looking at it as purchased persecution. But when it comes to big cities with lots of people and plenty of attention, they will not try to stir the pot. They know how much more difficult planning and zoning is in urban areas versus rural areas. These types of behaviors at the very least are a symptom of spiritual corruption. Prophecy foretold of these sorts of fruit that just don't comport with God and his people...

      @prophetcentral 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@sheliabryant3997 that's for God to determine. It's not a calling I pursue, but if God gives me a word to speak, then I will speak it. He has poured his spirit up on me in many instances, so I guess it depends on how you define what a prophet is. If you define it as the President of a church, then you can rule that out for me. If it is a member of the Church of the Lamb who received the testimony of Jesus, then we should all seek to become that sort of prophet, because that is an adopted spirit child of Christ.

    There’s no contradiction in saying that “steeples are a part of our religious observance” and the notion that, depending on the location, some temples may not include steeples.
    If the residents of a particular community wish to challenge the height of a steeple, those challenges will be addressed on their own merits in each of their respective city councils.
    Presently, the Church clearly prefers to have steeples on their new temples, probably because it provides a more consistent look and more easily identifies these structures as LDS temples to members and non-members alike.
    The constant harping on steeple height is an ongoing non-story intended to simply cast aspersions on the Church for the benefit of clicks.
