- Looking for a slim leverless controller at a reasonable price with the convenience of a traditional arcade stick maintenance? Look no further than the Punk Workshop Mini Box for a fightpad that offers a player experience you won't find on other controllers thanks to clever design and their own low-profile "Pro V1" buttons.

your vids haven't popped up in my feed forever! great to see you, from a long time subscriber
I love the idea of switches for the menu buttons and even more so if they have a satisfying sound.
oooooh i might get this. Thank you !
I was literally looking for this controller yesterday!
o-rings are def something the keyboard community left behind a long time ago. they just feel so bad its not worth the tradeoff. Especially if you are using standard MX switches there are so many new silent switches that dont feel mushy at all.
Overall i don't need another controller, but this looks really cool and well done
I have to get this beauty. Thanks for sharing! 😍🙏✨
In Australia there is a 5th layout called the E.
Wait what? What is it?
Pretty cool. If we're talking performance, I'd rather have a Kitsune. Optical switches means no debounce delay, faster actuation/adjustable actuation distance, and smoother action in the switch itself. Moved to an optical keyboard, and mouse (buttons), and I will never go back to standard mechanical. A thinner controller is also nice for slipping into a backpack, plus it simply being the epitome of ergonomic options - excess height means, either, "wrist extension", or constantly-engaged shoulders. If performance wasn't as important, I'd actually go with a stick. Just because they're more fun, IMO. Playing arcade/arcade-style games with a stick is just a good time.
Congrats on Plat 1
I need to stop watching these videos because i am gonna buy too many controllers. But this one sounds so cool!
I used the PWS switches V1s and V2s on my Haute G16 and found them to have unreliable qc, too wobbly and too much variation in spring ping and resistance between switches and 5/22 had a pronounced double click issue. Ended up replacing them for tecsee medium puddings modded with inner stem 90A o-rings and replaced the springs with 37g bottom out two stage springs. The Haute R16 would also be a good recommendation if you need low profile and button rims for sliding
Nice piece of kit. Is it possible to use these buttons in a standard stick? I have a madcatz mvsc3 tournament stick. Cheers.
nice
Hey NihongoGamer. I have a question. Do you know of any Fightstick of this quality, but has a reverse layout, IE with the directional inputs on the right hand side. I have a close friend who is left handed and learned to play on KB. And I want to surprise homie with a really nice leverless, it’s just hard to find one with a reversed/mirrored layout. Any help or direction outside making him one myself is appreciated.
Love the content, I got my Kitsune leverless due to your reviews and videos
Would it be possible to change out the PCB for a different one than the one provided by Punk Workshop?
I removed the o-rings after I got mine, it just doesn't feel right. Also, because the travel is shorter with the o-rings, some games doesn't read inputs correctly especially on sequential inputs
I actually modded my crown 202s with silicon O rings and put a TINY bit of toilet paper in the plungers to make actuation possible. And they play EXACTLY like these buttons lol. Glad to see these became a thing because it really doesn't get any more efficient than this.
how does charge or negative edge play on those buttons?
do you prefer this or the kitsune?
just curious but how does this compare to an mpress?????? from what i own the mpress is my fav fav fav controller to use i love the feel of it and this VISUALLY reminds me a lot of the mpress. just curious cuz it looks enticing i might wanna look into this soon 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
hi NihongoGamer, Do you think tactile switch or linear switch are better for hitbox?
i was there when you got this XD
You were indeed
I'd do ANYTHING for that Evo Japan comtroller, I hope, can it be bought!?
Mr. Nihongo, how would you compare this to Junk Food Arcade Snack Box Micro.
Why don't leverless controllers have a left pinky button?
some do, controllers like Hypercube and Haute42 have buttons on the left of the left button.
I ordered a haute42 r16 that has that
If you had the skill and inclination you could probably customise a controller like this, at the risk of voiding any warranty though. Being made of acrylic it would be easy to drill your own hole, buy an extra complete button housing, and move the wiring over so you have either L3 or R3 to left of the d-buttons. Or yeah, just buy a Haute42 lol.
Better than Razer kitsune?
I'm not surprised he gets sent so many controllers, he basically never has anything negative to say, nothing major anyway.
They are that good, always,,, all of them.
I mean it's got to be hard to f****** a small shoe box with 12 buttons.
At this point it's like Android versus iPhone it's just preference to the shape size.
I myself tend to prefer controllers that are plug and play without downloading extra s***
Yeah honestly I take his reviews with as pinch of salt.
Yeah I was pretty sus after the glowing review he gave to the awful "MadCatz" stick.
He gave a review that made me stay away from a certain controller.
Finding out later as well that the only way to make the controller work well was to put hot glue inside after opening it up made me thankful he mentioned the issues
this or the haute m16 plus?
Haute has more buttons and the extra buttons can be used like a cross up (a second left,up or right button) their not just an extra r3 or l3 button. Its also under $100.... criminally underrated
The haute 1000000%.
I have the Haute m13 and I love it and for how cheap it is. I have YET to have a problem with the like 5 months I have had it. AND its cheaper.
Just got mine in the mail with specific instructions to make it a mirrored layout. Mine arrived in normal layout despite my several interactions with the "manager" about my specified instructions so as not to get mixed up. I hope they can give me my refund or send me what I ordered in a timely manner dude. This thing is waaay too expensive for them to mess up an order like this...
not europe friendly as always :(
Ay man I love you but no gonna lie the videos are getting kinda dull. Can you look at something other than a hit box style controller. How about that asus xbox controller or a new pc or something with jazz. Thx bro
I love all the controllers. I specifically clicked on this one because I love every fight stick review
@@TheRealProfessorChris Yup. Clicked on the vid to check out the new lever less controller. Mind, I am in the market for a new one, so opinion is def biased.
"I received this product"
You mean you got it for free?
Any who buys any product receives the product...
Children I swear.
Cheaters controllers right here. These should be banned in competition.
