+Casper van Helvoirt Music from the soul makes us cry... A single tear fallen into life.. John Frusciante.. Is such an inspiration to my heart and mind... to just be without any remorse bc I know what is within me is beautiful and I see it even more so through his music..
I think the peeps who are disappointed with this album or don't like Frusciante's solo work in general have no idea that Frusciante has never wanted to simply re-do the Red Hot Chili Peppers as some solo vanity project. His solo work really is completely different and is to me far better than anything the Chili Peppers, with him or without, have ever done.
With music like this why would he want to play for rhcp.for too long at s time.he seems so more into it Not Judas him his times in rhcp he was bad ass too
Just like John, I came out of rehab for a while, and incredibly these songs perfectly portray a state of mind that is slowly recovering from years of abuse. It's a window into life, a banner that puts suffering and hope in the same prism.
John to me is just the mountain, the epitome of purity in music, his relationship to music spiritually and creatively for me changed me as a person and my appreciation for art.
If I remember right, John was not pleased with this album (at least not enough to ask money for it) and gave it for free on the Internet. It was downloadable, but not available at stores at time.
dude I listened to John's music for many years, and it brought me to places I never imagined and changed me as a person and how I live. But that is enough. This is alone music to me. I want to experience other things now and move on and live.
Low Birds. If you love it so much you should probably get the title right out of respect, don't you think? It has no other alternative titles except for misheard, incorrect, made up bullshit. That is all.
At some point everyone one of his albums has been a favorite. Think it's back to this one at the moment. All around tho to record only water for ten days. Inside emptiness. The will to death and empyrean could cover me
This album is kinda weird there doesn't exists hard copies like cd's or vinyl it was released online and some songs were re released in the Going Inside EP
the only way I can now listen to these songs is if its coming out of my own mouth ... as soon as I can afford to, I plan on covering some stuff i can play moments have you and wishing i think its called, off the will 2 death
He released all the songs for free on the net in 2001 because they were being leaked anyway but there was no album title as such, which is why he was confused when asked about it by name in that 2004 radio interview session when he answered fans' questions.
BigBad Bryant but most of Niandra was pre drug.. Niandra was never meant to be released. I think by this time John had found his vocal sound and was much more experienced. But Niandra was a masterpiece that he made for himself to "trip out to" and that he shared with his friends and then they convinced him to release it. Most of Smile From the Streets You Hold was songs that didn't make it onto Niandra
Steven RHCP freak He wasn't an addict yet but he started to get heavy into heroine and crack somewhere during the writing of Blood Sugar and Niandra. Surely that influenced the overall quality and tone of Niandra for better or for worse I believe.
BigBad Bryant not till the tour did he start falling into drugs but yea im sure, but that plus a little four track cassette had a great impact on the album, i love the rawness
+Fizsion acually if you compare the name low birds with lou bergs its very similair if you speak it so maybe someone didnt hear it so good ( thats my opinion)
Lets see. I downloaded the album when it came out in 2001 and that's what the track was named. Google calls it Lou bergs as well. www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#safe=active&q=from+the+sounds+inside+songs&stick=H4sIAAAAAAAAAONgFuLSz9U3MMxNsczLUEJia4lmJ1vp55YWZybrJ-YkleZaFefnpRcDABun9qcxAAAA

thank you John for that masterpiece!! your music inspired me for this song/video project I just finnished. LOVE th-cam.com/play/PLkE7CKdB6IYBuqm__B4X6DNZbKaQHVtPp.html
Everyone's raving in the comments about how wonderful a Frusciante album this is but my first impression is that it's really bland. It's like the space chaos of Niandra only without color or innovative song structure. The chord progressions are all pretty stock. Moments of it are melding well with my stoned bliss, but I've heard all his released solo work and this is my least favorite so far. It seems from around the time when he had just lost his teeth and was trying to write more kind of traditional four chord acoustic music but hadn't quite got the hang of it yet.
OZend1 Well played sir, have my humble like for what it's worth. Though I would have used these four instead: John Anthony "Motherfucking" Frusciante. :)
how DARE you?! JOHN FRUSCIANTE IS A SAINT! no but seriously, dude has serious skills. i will agree though, he loses me with some of his solo stuff. RHCP FOR LIFE!!!!!
I often cry like a baby to this. I find so much pure beauty in this. I thank John Frusciante with my whole heart
+Casper van Helvoirt try Omar Rodriguez Lopez & John Frusciante Full Album, 16:10 VTA. Gets me everytime. No idea why but it does.
TheTwicey I know that one! I enjoy it very much, but this vibe does something to me nothing else can, besides John :)
+Casper van Helvoirt Music from the soul makes us cry... A single tear fallen into life.. John Frusciante.. Is such an inspiration to my heart and mind... to just be without any remorse bc I know what is within me is beautiful and I see it even more so through his music..
yesss, I can't describe what his music does to me, it's beautiful and so satisfying, just feels so reassuring and just beautiful
Then you more than likely have low testosterone

John to me is just the mountain, the epitome of purity in music, his relationship to music spiritually and creatively for me changed me as a person and my appreciation for art.
I am in love with this phase in John's work when he made the sounds inside him available for us. It's so multifarious and delicate.
If I remember right, John was not pleased with this album (at least not enough to ask money for it) and gave it for free on the Internet. It was downloadable, but not available at stores at time.
Fav album of all time so nostalgic
..tears rolling down..
"It's our hearts that make tears spill down our faces." Low Birds.
I love this album. Fascinated, fixated, obsessed. So unique.
dude I listened to John's music for many years, and it brought me to places I never imagined and changed me as a person and how I live. But that is enough. This is alone music to me. I want to experience other things now and move on and live.

BEG MAR te hace sentir algo sobrenatural, te hipnotiza...es una cosa que no se puede explicar con palabras...pero es algo realmente hermoso...
Engancha mucho! solo por como comienza la primera canción...

the only way I can now listen to these songs is if its coming out of my own mouth ... as soon as I can afford to, I plan on covering some stuff i can play moments have you and wishing i think its called, off the will 2 death
I can't listen to this for too long. I been down that road... don't care to back pedal or revisit... rather listen to anoraak, or gundam wing ost.

Well if I really wanna cover it it might help if I listened, no?
Where's "Dying Song"?

Dying song is from the "brown bunny" soundtrack
Sorry, my bad.

how do we know what of this he did. he stated hed never heard of this title album
He released all the songs for free on the net in 2001 because they were being leaked anyway but there was no album title as such, which is why he was confused when asked about it by name in that 2004 radio interview session when he answered fans' questions.
oh ye - wiki

What he thought the heroin album sounded like.
It sounds like this is what John wanted Niandra LaDes and Usually Just a T-Shirt to be beneath his drug addiction.
BigBad Bryant but most of Niandra was pre drug.. Niandra was never meant to be released.

Penetrate time is actually called low birds.
+Fizsion acually if you compare the name low birds with lou bergs its very similair if you speak it so maybe someone didnt hear it so good ( thats my opinion)
pretty sure it is Lou Bergs and people misheard it as Low Birds.
Its both... and all :)
What are you basing that backwards nonsense on Joe Ferris? Don't be ridiculous :D
Lets see. I downloaded the album when it came out in 2001 and that's what the track was named. Google calls it Lou bergs as well.

heroin sounds beautyfull
He actually wasn't drug addict for 3 years when he recorded this album.
You don't to mess with heroin dude.
