Rough rip, man. I'd be more inclined to buy these if the pack count was flipped: 1 ST and 2 LO. I've been in a similar situation recently. Been buying a decent amount of 2024 spring Walmart mystery boxes. They were pretty amazing in the beginning but the product I once loved ended up biting me towards the end. The complete randomness of ripping Pokémon packs is truly a wonder. Wishing you the best of luck on your next rip, bro!
The code cards were not errors just fall 23 reprint packs. I just ripped 6 of the costco Miraidon tin bundles that were on sale for $22 last week and noticed some Silver Tempest packs were older print run with the different color code cards and even the wrap was the older thinner style with the back seam tab being loose and some were from the reprint last fall with the standard black code cards and thicker packs with the back seam pressed like the modern S&V sets. Even the Paldea Evolved packs had some old wrap some new. Did pull the Magikarp from the first pack of Paldea Evolved and it was an old pack with a gold and Tinkatun SIR and few other AR cards. The 30 Tempest packs were rough with only 2 Hisuian Growlithe V's for .80 cents value. But it was odd to see the different print run packs together.
I opened a chilling reign booster box off camera just for fun tonight and it was awesome!!! I DID hit an awesome Slowking V Alt Art! 🎉🎉 plus I hit 2 Vmax , a full art trainer & a Gold Electrode (love it!) I don’t really care about values or $$ because I’m trying to get some nice stuff for a PSA shipment so this box was super fun! Some nice pack fresh cards, hopefully a few 10s ! GL on upcoming openings brother
I just bought a bunch of silver tempest booster bundles and they were all good codes and not all hits so the code cards seem to not matter in some products.
Nah, they do matter. Every time I've opened Silver Tempest, code cards have always been right 99% the time, just like other sets in the Sword and Shield era. You probably just came across a wave of error packs.

I got 2 newer released silver tempest booster bundle, 4 white code cards each with holo and v hits in the 2 blacks, not feeling the reprints 😢
