4K| Volvo FH16 750 XXL 8x4 Transports The Main Part Of A CAT 6015 Excavator

First the CAT 6015 excavator was lifted by 2 mobile cranes at the harbour in Drammen before the Volvo FH16 750 truck with machine trailer backed in to position for loading and then it headed north for a rock quarry outside Oslo with pilot cars, and when it arrived the quarry, a mobile crane and a truck with a crane was lifting the excavator of the trailer, so the Volvo truck could drive off. The other parts of the excavator such as the tracks, counterweight and the boom was transported on other trucks.

I wonder what this section weighs, apparently the complete excavator has an operating weight of some 154 imperial tons.
I hope you can get us some video on this Excavator in operation?

I spoke with a guy that was working at the quarry, and he told me that the machine will be operating from later in April. So I will try to get that machine on video then.
