  • How to Overcome Sleep Paralysis & Why It's Actually a Good Thing.
As for my experience, sleep paralysis is the entry stage for astral projection. If you experience sleep paralysis, my advice is to work on relaxing and calming yourself in general but also throughout the experience. If you do so, you will soon start to have astral projection experiences.
This explanation video is part of a series of guided meditation and astral projection. Here are the videos of that series.

The clearest thoughts on the subject that I've come across

I started having night terrors after my husband was killed and there was at least one entity present. It would attack me and seemed to take my energy. I tried everything, fighting it, being angry and demanding, begging, negotiating, ignoring it, all of that and none of it helped, some made it worse. Then one night I found myself with the entity again and I realized whatever it was, that's all it would be. It didn't want to change and evolve. In that moment, I felt sorry for it and loved it. The being went absolutely mental on me and stayed that way for a long time. But I had found a weakness so I kept trying to love it. Just wanting to feel love was not enough, it couldn't be faked. It took a while but one night I not only loved it, I sent love and maintained that the whole time it was attacking me and I felt myself rise. Not physically, energetically I believe my resonance rose and took me to a level of resonance where the being had no power over me. It couldn't reach me anymore. And that was the end of the frightening part of my journey. It took me two years after I first felt love and caring for it but it was worth it. I do still love it and hope it can find it's own path towards growth. Now I can get to SP and hypnogogia pretty easily. I have a hard time getting out of the body. I can almost never do it when I want to. I've taken a lot of advise but so far, getting out of the body at will, is my challenge.

I'm so glad I found this! I've had sleep paralysis going on for a long time now. It happens at least a few times or more a week. I always am scared, I know my husband is right next to me and know I can't scream so I usually try to moan until he wakes me. Most of the time I'll fall right back into it! I'm definitely going to try and deal with the fear tonight! I don't usually see anything but can feel something or someone is going to hurt me. I did have a really bad experience years ago. It felt like something was on my chest and choking me. I couldn't breathe. Woke up gasping for air. Thank God that hasn't happened again..
    This gives me hope! 💜

Daniel & Sara Lauf hey thanks for writing! Develop a spiritual practice, so you can slowly raise your consciousness. You’ll come out of it. You are more powerful than these experiences! Take care and be blessed.

I started meditating a little over a year ago, when I lost my mom and grandad (the man who raised me) I was doing it everyday but for the last few months I've been slacking... it's been hard with my kids home all day with schools closed still from Corona. I really do need to make time though!

As soon as you feel the body vibrations that happen right before the actual sleep paralysis make the decision to leave your body. Many videos telling how to on TH-cam. By doing this you avoid the sleep paralysis and also have very spiritual life changing experiences.

      @danielsaralauf7462 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Amber I didn't know that was my body's vibration! I know exactly what you're talking about! It's to weird and strange to describe. So right when that happens how do I leave my body?? I've been trying....

    • @spicekidz6818
      @spicekidz6818 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Sry just saw this. Ya know it is so hard to describe. I’m pretty new to astral projection....just a few months in. It happens a few times a week for me and I don’t even try. I used to get bad sleep paralysis and every time I start with the vibrational stage if I don’t “leave my body” I will without a doubt end up in sleep paralysis. So, it’s easier to just pop out lol. A ways I first discovered it on accident. I had taken a nap and my hubby and kids were in bed with me watching a movie one afternoon. My body started the vibrations and Iwas like nope I’m not getting sleep paralysis so time to getup. I jumped up and to my amazement I was actually horrified to stand up and see myself still lying there asleep and my husband and kids still there watching the movie and chatting. I was extremely intrigued also so I went outside and walked and flew around the block then came home and was scared I was dead lol. So I was like let me hop back in my body and as soon as I thought it I did and immediately woke up. This led me to research cause I had never heard of any of it before. I don’t use the rope technique or anything else. I just sit up and slip away. I wish I had better advice. The technique as well as the experiences are different for everyone. Like when it happens for me I can only seem to stay around my actual neighborhood. Other people talk about going to other planets and far away gorgeous places. Not me though. I can only fly around my actual house and outside lol. I tried to go to the moon once but got very very high up and I’m afraid of heights so I was scared and made the decision to get back in my body immediately. So maybe research astral travel techniques and hopefully you can find one that works well for you.

If I want to get out of sleep paralysis, I relax and inhale as deep as I can and it always brings me out of it.

A bouncer or a gate keeper. You must be fearless. When you overcome the fear, you can really start to enjoy yourself.
One thing I’ve found is that the deeper I go, the more I sweat. Its clear the body is working really hard for you.

So we should be embracing these episodes of sleep paralysis? I've never seen or sensed another being while paralyzed. I can tell when it's starting by hearing buzzing sounds and vibrations that seem to tunnel in closer and louder. I'm conscious but cant move or speak. So scary but thanks to your video, I now welcome it instead of being fearful. Thank you

been months since i last had it.....got too hyped when it last occured and it sent me awake instead of getting out of my body as i wanted :S...never feared it but the first time it occured i was like "wtf is going on ?(thats like 20 years ago about)"..my best attempt during 1 of those rare occurence was kneeling....trying to get up was like if i was on 3-5X the gravity....still consider it fun stuff but i'd rly like to get to the fun flying part...maybe next time....i will put in more force of my will into it and control my hypeness to stay calm XD

I never experienced anything scary either. I also experienced the buzzing and vibrations. When I first actually gave into it was the first time I astral projected. I don’t try to do ever it just happens naturally. I do it all the time now. I do recognize the vibrations and consciously make the decision to leave my body. I have amazing conscious projections all the time. It’s wonderful.

yes. Ive been experiencing SP w HH saince I was a child. I have had bronchitis and lung weakness and as a LP 7 etc this has often been terrifying. I hasve always experienced some lucid dreaming as well. After some time, I realized relaxing during the SP opens the experience up to the control of my consciousness. Once you are aware " oh I am asleep and cant move and what is that thisng etc should I fight aweaker.." just close your thoughts and lower mind down as if you are "closing" your eyes. Appreciate the paralysis and state of luminal gnosis and explore with your will and spirit, higher-mind if you rather, and leave the fear to fall away as you transcend.

i have had sleep paralysis happen to me since i was 4 yrs old, i always forced myself to wake up which was hard. if anyone was next to me they can hear me crying for help and they would wake me. if i was alone i would have to endure the torture. my eyes always slightly open to where i can see my whole room. then a dark tall demon would appear and i could feel it sit on my bed and begin to whisper into my ear. it touched me everywhere and it would transform into different creatures. since by trying to ignore it and trying hard to wakeup wouldnt work....i tried the scariest thing which was to look at it and smile and blow a kiss to the scary demon.i imagined myself holding my arms open as to give it a hug. i let go of my fear and POOF it disappeared. one thing i learned is they feed off of our energy. u gotta stay positive and overcome your biggest fears. they become weaker when u crush it with good vibes :)

Thanks... great explanation! I have been having sleep paralysis since i was 10 yrs old, or maybe even before that which i can't remember. while fighting to get out of the paralysis, i sometimes walk across the room and switch on the light, or throw the blanket off my face, several times ..only to wake up and realize that these things never happened, i never went across the room to swich on the light... yet it feels so real, unlike the dream body. now i realize that i was having OBE . I wonder that's what happens to us when we die... BTW i experienced sleep paralysis while listening to your astral projection music, and i fought myself awake.. next time i will just surrender and let it happen.

I had something literally punch me in the side of the face last night during sleep paralysis, it was terrifying. I didn’t see anything, since I usually lose my “vision” right before I get the paralyzed feeling, but I could feel and hear something standing over my right side before it hit me. I’ve never had anything like this happen before 😱

The scariest thing for me is not being able to breathe during sleep paralysis. It's a horrible sensation. I try screaming or shouting or try really really hard to move my body but nothing works. I suddenly snap out of it & sit straight up in the bed gasping for breathe. Then i fall back into it straight away, sometimes numerous times. I can feel myself going into it. Does this happen to anyone else?

Thank you for this, I have had chronic sleep paralysis since I was 12 years old and I’m now almost 25. It’s so bad that I take antipsychotics but I’ve had some side effects of the antipsychotics and I want to get off. I’m taking seroquel right now and I realize that the seroquel is just a bandaid so I don’t have to deal with trauma. I want to wean off but I don’t know how to and I’m also scared but I want to learn to get past my sleep paralysis and stop fearing it.

I’ve had sleep paralysis since I was around 8, at one point I was living in Florida I swear I could feel myself leaving my body during the sleep paralysis. It always scared me and I fought it, then just kind of let it happen, but it was still frightening and it wouldn’t last long till I woke back up, it hasn’t happened like that since I left Florida

It's alright saying wiggle your toe, but it's not always easy while a goblin is eating your hair, or electric entity is making the lights surge and noise piercing your ears. Or the night hag grabbing legs..... Or.... The worst one. The man in black with hat just waiting there.... I have to say though, since I tried to put meaning onto what it could be about it has become less. Never tried meditation....
It's strange as I nearly miss the experience even though it terrified me for 10-15years. The last one I had, the goblin was on my grandad, not me. My grandad lived alone, so that scared me to see him suffering. He died a week later

I've had SP since I was 9 (I'm 69 now). I attended a neurology seminar years ago & learned it is known as a "pseudo seizure), b/c it mimics seizures in so far as patients are "post-ictal" following the SP (i.e. you are mentally & physically exhausted. Mentally you are not as "sharp" as you usually are.)
I know when I am going to have SP: If I am sleep deprived (e.g., I haven't slept in 1, 2 or more days pulling all-nighters studying for exams.) I can also feel SP is coming on when I consume an inordinate amount of carbs for a day or 2. (I learned in the lecture that SP often occurs when diet consists mostly of carbs. This is certainly true in my experience--like when I just pig-out on sweets all day long)
Though I always fight the urge to go to sleep--even if it is in the middle of the day--b/c I hate having "hypno-gogic hallucinations" (i.e., the frightening dreams & paralysis that accompany SP), I am so very tired that I can't do anything but give in to going to sleep.
For me, the hallucinations are horrifying b/c someone is about to violently harm me (e.g., I am going to be stabbed or raped). I tell my partner that if I die in my sleep, it is likely I have had SP & I couldn't lift my face off the pillow & have suffocated to death.
Next time I have SP, I'm going to meditate & try to have an astral projection.

I did my first mediation laying down with music and It scared me. My body started vibrating, and I felt my hearing going in and out with that vibration. Then I felt like I was falling, that's when I couldn't wake up or move. I felt scared, like something bad was gonna happen. I heard loud whispering. I finally woke up and I swore I'd never meditate that deep again. I'm glad alot of other people have had this happen to them.

I read the comments with interest and felt terrible that so people are having frequent sleep paralysis and very frightening ones too! I too had some when I was a lot younger. The earlier ones were usually when I found the room was so bright that it was impossible for me to open my eyes ( just the dream itself) . I struggled extremely hard to get up (or wake up) only to realise that the 'waking up' was just another dream. I never really did wake up. This would go on many times before I could eventually truly wake up. It was like a multi-layer dream in which each time I only woke up to the layer above. I had to keep waking up till I eventually got to the top layer then I truly woke up. In later years, my sleep paralysis got scary, I didn't actually see any being but I felt a frightening force trying to harm me. I was so scared I didn't know what to do. I tried to call God, but I was not a Christian, didn't know how to. Then I remembered a Buddhist mantra that I often heard in Chinese movies. I just kept chanting it non-stop. It turned out to be the quickest way to wake up! Since then I always chanted the same Buddhist mantra whenever I had sleep paralysis and it has always worked! I felt the mantra helped bring the mind to focus and return to the level of consciousness. Another thing, I found that my sleep paralysis usually occur during afternoon naps especially when I was actually not that tired. I quit my afternoon naps altogether to stop it from happening 😂😂 I wish all of you who are still struggling with this find a way to manage it. 🙏🙏

I have had at least 10 episodes of sleep paralysis. I saw or felt a presence of a terrible terrible being on several of them but the first one literally looked like a hooded character. One of them even had some type of dog like a rottweiler growling at another being. It felt as if the dog was protecting me. Each time I willed myself to sit up. The last one however I knew what was happening and although it felt like I was having a heart attack, I decided to fight it. I quickly calmed myself and accepted the being I saw (which was actually my blanket sitting in a weird way) who had a weird hat on and only half his face was showing. It slowly disappeared and I started to will myself up again but this time in a calm manner. I literally started to float towards my ceiling and became so amazed that I woke myself up. Haven't had it happen since but I am excited for it because I am no longer scared. Sorry for the book. Lol

At first I called Gods name..that seemed to work but just. And every time I encountered demon like beings I tried to scare them with Gods name but that was usually the point where the paralysis would start. I never understood that. I'd wake up heart pounding wondering why those beings weren't scared. Then when my confidence in my spiritual self built I started to understand that it was me trying to get into my body. But still creepy beings would still be around. Then I started to relax into the Self and could hear a sort of Passphrase that would slip me into my body. First it was 'I am God'. And the last one I had to use was 'I am loved.' The paralysis came less frequent. And then came a time no password was needed. I just relaxed deep into Self to slip into my body. A deep sense of trust I d like to have throughout life!

A huge black smoky figure standing to my right, about a foot from my face..Quite impressive.. Always pleasant to realize that in addition to that, you're paralyzed.. I would have to agree on the fact that fighting it would just get things worse.. It looks like it's reflecting the greetings back at you.. I believe it is there for teaching purposes as well.
I have to admit that is a bit uncomfortable and intimidating

I've probably had over 100 experiences.
I have tried relaxing into it but the white noise in my head gets so loud it's unbearable and I have to wake myself up.
All I can do is try and yell out but it is more like a moan.
I get buzzing in my head while I'm still fully awake and know that I will have sleep paralysis when I fall asleep.

Paralysis sleep I have since I was child. Few times in one night. 😱 Also during the day 🙄. What I did? I imagined I was in the box. to wake up I had to push me out of this box with all my strength 💪... Or ... I noticed that I could breathe loudly and faster so when someone heard me, they touched me 👉 quickly. and I woke up... Or...I bought myself a ferret 🐺. this animal always slept with me. the ferret often wakes up very rapidly by itself. and thus woke me up... Or.. I am the light🎇. so i shine like a star 🌟

I had sleep paralysis 2 times the past 4 months and both times when I was in paralysis I felt like I was pushing off my bed to get up but I was still laying there. I really felt like I was getting up psychically but I was still in my bed until I eventually rolled over and got control back. I wonder if this is my soul trying to leave my body during the paralysis?

I remember getting this alot. I can feel a dark presence in my room. Even before the onset of the sleep paralysis in my dream state there is a darkness that enters then my body stops moving. My eyes are wide open and I would feel someone directly over me and like I could feel them watching me and breathing on me. I would feel my mouth moving as though I am screaming to the top of my lungs and noone can hear me. I can't even hear me but I know I am shouting and screaming. But my arms and legs cannot move. Eventually I could wiggle my toes and move. To me it is a frightening experience cause even in one of my dreams there was a dog there and the dog ran off howling and then I saw this darkness coming and I couldn't move. I always get it when I dream something dark or some evil person. But these days I don't get it happening.

Never had sleep paralysis but I can lucid dream. If there is a bad energy in the dream I can power up like GoKu in Dragon Ball Z and blast the heck out of it.

Brother I’ve been getting sleep paralysis multiple times a night, I’ve astral projected and the first time it happened it almost drove me to insanity. I could only sleep with when my girlfriend was beside me. I’ve come to except it and today I actually mediated through the experience yet didn’t astral project. Is there any way I can get ahold of you and talk maybe via phones or sky call. I have so many questions and would appreciate it so much

When you said „and then the sleep paralysis started to dissapear“, did you mean for ever or did you mean, that they became shorter?

In my experience it has nearly completely stopped, I've only just found this video, but have been researching. The deeper I got,the less the visions and feeling happened.... It's strange I had it for 10-15years, it terrified me.... But now it has stopped I almost miss it...

Same. I was researching astral projection and starting meditation a few days ago and just realized all my sleep paralysis might be a way to astral project but I always got scared and realized I was stuck and I though I was dead. But I want to know where I was supposed to go and what message I was to receive. I hope I’m not so late

I guess its sleep paralysis I experience, it is unvolunterily, happens couple times a year. I always know when it starts, gets very heavy in the head followed by electrical charges going down my spine, almost like adrenaline surges, then loud noise almost like plane is taking off and then falling, always happens in the middle of the night. if I dont move my finger it continues and gets scarier and scarier, i cannot keep my eyes open because its very scary and I could see shadows moving thats why I keep my eyes shut. Happened many times and always starts the same and feels the same. Many times pulled myself out of dreams,if it gets very scary I tend to tell myself to wake up, followed by horrid migraine during the day, but thats when I sleep and see dreams. I dont know what it is and it is scary when it gets deeper, dreams feel like they have layers and its hard to pull myself back to wake up, i had occurances of being stuck and that is the scariest parts ever that started questioning dream realm in general. In case someone goes through the same thing, you are not alone.

    Please help.
The past 3 years I started seeing creatures in my house.
For 2 years straight I saw them but never realised it. Why? Cz they were brainwashing me into thinking about things and manipulating my thoughts and deleted the thought of me seeing them. I always had nightmares and also weird sexual dreams and always felt horny each time I lay down and like someone is on me weight I'd look I'd see those creatures sitting on me giving me strong vibrating energy . So one day I was sleeping nd saw a dream of someone hugging me in that dream I hear God telling me to wake up from this dream that is not my dream and that I should see who is manipulating me. I wake up I see a black silhouet figure touching my forehead entering blue light in my forehead. I push him away it gets scared and stand on the side and keeps staring with shock. Ever since that day I see them without having my thoughts being manipulated. I see them sometimes how they look sometimes white/blue/black energy. I even know who is there. Sometimes the same one comes every know and then. Sometime new ones. Sometimes they're transparent. Sometimes they bling themselves so that I notice them. I can even sometimes see the clothes they have on. I even can see them around people. Like those creatures are around everyone actually. It's exactly what in Islamic religion says. They attack me with electric painful energy and every night they give me sexual energy or very strong vibrational energy that is so annoying I'd feel as if I'm moving. I'd even feel a finger inside me sometimes when it was sexual. I were able to hear them talk to me telepathically and they wanted me to do things I would also hear them talk between each other without them realising Etc. They also fed me with thoughts of isolation and anger and depression etc. So I started realising those weren't my thoughts and it was a battle of me or them controlling my thoughts and emotions.
So I connect to God. I started reading the Quran praying etc.
After 3 weeks I started remembering everything I saw the past 2 years.
I also were able to see some guys visit me at my house astral traveling. I never knew about astral traveling. So I thought it wasn't real till one day this guy comes to me and tells me he had been astral traveling to my house. And I told him yes I saw you. He was shocked. He asked me what I saw. I told him he looked like a bunch of points gathered together some of them blinged some not and he was blue white colored. I told him I saw him with his pijamas he was wearing when he went to sleep which shocked him even more. There were some other guys too who visited me. Which I saw them the same way. I even saw my parents soul depart every night when they went to sleep. I even saw like how bad bacteria thinks and feels and that it chooses to be bad and know what it is doing but in it's own conscious of level. Anyway so I learned about astral travlers from him. Those creatures wanted me to astral . So I always had to control my thoughts so it wouldn't happen every night. Even sexual thoughts. Etc
So the more I connected to God the stronger I became. I started not hearing them talk telepathically anymore. They're energy became less strong on me the feeling was less. I started being able to control my emotions and thoughts and became mentally stronger. When they entered my dreams I would be able to hit them. Also I'd see creatures who come as the figures of my friends and family protect me from them. I also realised if I act I don't see anything (them or anything à human can't see) they don't attack me with electric energy. So I started ignoring them acted like I never saw them.
This took me 1 year after that dream of hearing God.
I still see them all and they still give me sexual energy or vibrational energy every night.
Why? And how to stop that completely?I don't want to astral travel. Is there any other way than that? I want to be honest with you in Islam it talks about how there are bad creatured (human and others) that can see us from a place we can't see them. And that they watch us/manipulate thoughts/whisper/etc. The only ones who don't get effected are the ones who are strongly connected to God. Which through "helping others, doing good things to urself and others, helping to poor and orphans, thinking good thoughts, fasting to strengthen the body immune system, always connect to God's energy by doing something called" Tasbieh"which is like saying God is kindness God is in control, God is the one and only God, God is good, God is knowing of all, I trust in God. Which also helps strengthen the energy cz ur connecting to God by thinking of God and so on"
God talks about how many Muslims aren't believers and that only believers are the ones who are protected. By Muslim anyone is Muslim not just ppl following the Quran. Muslim means one who relies on God trusts in God like surrender to God. Anyone that has God in their hearts and brains and strives for goodness and doesn't do bad is a Muslim. Which most Muslims don't understand. It's not a religion like 1 thing. All religions are from God which through time have been manipulated and changed by humans.
But anyone who connects strongly to God by understanding God and always doing good is a believer which is higher than a Muslim which are protected cz they're working on themselves and says they have equal energy as the angels.
Islam is really misunderstood by many Muslims majority actually for example headscarf doesn't exist, the 72 virgins is a lie it is not there even + 4 wives thing is understood wrongly and many things ppl follow things called ahadiths conversations of the messenger which are all lies+ they're arsbic language is not strong enough. Anyway..
9 years ago I saw the same type of creatures around a woman who did magic. Also when I was a child I saw things too many times. But I don't want to see them anymore. How to get rid of everyhting?
How long does it take for someone's energy to strengthen completely? Should I be more patient till my connection with God strengthens?

Thanks for sharing. Remember you are the light. You carry the highest frequency within you. Focus on raising your consciousness through whatever practice you choose and don't put too much focus on these attacks. Wherever your attention goes your energy flows. Let go of the past bit by bit. Take care.

Wow! I feel for you! I hope you'll find peace 🙏 Have faith in your God. Whenever these thoughts or sights show up, switch your attention immediately to your God. Focus on His unconditional love for you and everyone. Each time you think about them you're feeding your energy to them. So true, where your attention goes, your energy flows. Turn this switching of thoughts (or attention) into a habit. God bless ❤️❤️
