The painted hutch turned out beautiful. It is just perfect for your French Country dining room. The fall decorations really just pop. You will have so much fun changing it out for the different seasons. This transformation is amazing.

Wow I just bought the same table and chairs . love it and now i know how to paint my hutch . I got my hutch back in 1978.
It thought that it might be hard to match but I think it turned out quite well

Unbelievable - it's just so high-end customized looking. Every time you go into the room, I'll bet you smile. It's so gratifying when you find what you've wanted for a long while. The room really looks tasteful and chic. It's going to be difficult to find another piece that compliments. I was thinking about the window area. How about a long, half-moon, or straight edge storage bench, that opens up? Maybe not, just a thought. Good luck on your new quest. Wow! You are the best!

I have a hutch and matching table that I would love to paint but it totally intimates me. Love yours so nice
Thank you Vicki. It really isn't that hard. I first used this paint back a couple of houses ago on my kitchen cabinets. I was scared at first but it turned out to be rather easy.

Hi Jody, when I saw you were on u tube I couldn’t pull you up fast enough😂. I’ve been so excited to see how the hutch turn out. OMG it came out beautiful Jody. It’s stunning. I new it would be. You have a god giving talent. I still say you missed your calling being a decorator. I absolutely love your dinning room. In time you will find another piece in front of the window. Yes I agree you should hang that small cabinet on the wall. Boy oh boy can’t wait to see how you decorate it at Christmas. Again your hard work has paid off my friend. Jody!! It looks beautiful! I love it! I'm glad u removed the spindles from the shelf. I personally don't like them. I like the way u covered the holes. The dinningroom looks brighter with everything white. But I loved your buffet you sold. Hopefully u find a buffet you like to place at the window. Oh & yes the door glass looks more vintage with those spots. I also think they look good. Have a great weekend & start looking for buffet u will like!😀
Thank you Sandra. I really didn't care for them and they were about an inch away from the edge. The shelves aren't very wide so it did help by removing them. I have already started looking for a buffet. I haven't seen anything I like yet but I still want to check out some thrift stores that are further north. Have a great weekend too.

Love this kit you selected&will check it out!!I have used the special dark wax by Minwax&its alot of buffing,rubbing but this looks much easier applying.

I love your dinning and the hutch is beautiful… I have a suggestion for the window, a bench that opens up for storage with a nice cushioned seat for sitting put right under the window sill and window seat..you can put storage cabinets on either side of the windows and wow and eye popper…love your channel and love the colors of your new home and your amazing decor….👍❤️👍💕💕💕

I didn't even notice the window wasn't in the center of the wall until we moved and put furniture there. I would rather not have a window there myself. I like to have two solid walls in a dining room

Hi Jody, Well just back from the oral surgeon checkup ..all is well good to know I can still grow new bone yeah!. I think I am running out of adjectives for your work but how's splendiferous work for you? What a lot of work in what seemed like a short while. Removing the little peg thingies was clever as they are more Colonial looking and painting the lattice work was very French provincial ...i didn't even know they were removable. The finished effect was awsome I believe you have more decorative picks than anyone I know ! A super job and now we're on the hunt for a buffet or dresser or a teeny small Welsh hutch ...great expectations ! Have an enjoyable weekend dear girl love Susan in London Ontario

Beautiful job on the hutch! It is quite a transformation. You have inspired me to update some antique pieces that I have. Do you need to sand the furniture before you apply the paint?
Thank you Candy. You do not need to sand using the Rustoleum kit. It comes with a deglosser that you use first.
