We are looking into buying the farmhouse mobile home here soon and we are so excited. It’s beautiful and we are so okay with living in a mobile home. They are so much more reasonable than homes especially for those on a budget. Like us! Great video!

My husband and I are going through the same process to buy a mobile home. Just wanted to tell you to be wary of Clayton. We have had some issues with the one where we live and found out that we can buy the same houses they sell from a local dealer, for 20,000 dollars cheaper ,and a lot less hassle. I hope that your buying experience is less eventful then ours has been!!! The homes are beautiful, I love the last one!

We bought a manufactured home in 1994. It has served us well and still does. They are made better than mobile homes. Here are a few helpful hints. Make sure you are getting 2x6 walls. We looked and looked and looked. We took several months to pick out what we wanted. We went back and didn't take the one off the lot. We ordered and had the chance to max out the insulation in the wall, floor and ceiling. You also get to pick out everything. Get your appliances so its all in one payment. Take a 15 year loan out and pay off early if you can. You can move windows and outlets if you ask them. You can add cabinets and such. Pick a home that takes the time to do the trim work right. If its not right, chances are, underneath the walls isn't either. When you get the home, be very picky about everything that isn't right. Make sure they come back and fix it. Google the company you are buying from to see if anyone is complaining about them. Good luck!

I still saw the strips down the walls in some of the rooms in these. But for the most part I think most of them are made to totally different standards today and are consider to be as well build as a house. I have saw some advertising that say they are better build than a house. Some of them are even build on your lot. But again I think that depends on the dealer and which company you buy from. Pretty fancy for mobile homes. We couldnt do a mobile home cause it required money down. We did the no money down first time home buyers loan and there are stipulations that come with that, like no mobile homes.
They allow no money down here in GA which is nice because saving a large lump sum of money especially 10 -15% isn't always realistic . I wish there was better help for people who can't afford that and even help with lowering mortgages a little it's like the cost of living keeps going up but our checks don't ! I'm gonna keep praying about it for everyone not just myself ❤🙏

Beautiful, aren't they? I've seen some on here that make me drool. I have a favorite on here but can't get hubby into talking about it. We are in a 16' wide now and I really love it. Would just LOVE IT more if we could have a double wide LOL. Let us know what you did and show us your choice. I'm excited to see it.
We decided to stay in the single wide home we are in so we can pay it off quickly and be debt and mortgage free . Also next year we will begin working on building and edition

I'm in GA and around the area I live in housing is expensive and they don't allow mobile homes anymore. Which really stinks because some of these look way better than the outrageous homes they build. It all depends on where you live i guess. But yes thats a lot to us and our budget. Everywhere pays different too so thats another big factor. In South GA. You could have a huge house for that price .

These Are beautiful! Have you considered buying one that is a few years old? Sometimes you can find one from 2010 or newer.

What were the cabinets and the counter tops made out of?
They all have different matetial some had granite and some had laminate. 😊

Its because we would also be buying our property with it ! Sorry i should have clarified that.
The mobile homes were 110000 without property.
Now that 110000 included upgrades and hook up etc. 😀
