I still laugh at the image in my mind of that trawler just turning in circles out on the open sea....oh, the bewilderment those seamen must have felt. This is always going to be my favorite paranormal story!
Priceless Mr Dison! Absolutely priceless, as any Paul Harvey story I've ever heard. Yes, I'm sure you have experienced the things you mentioned in the intro yourself, as have I. That's just life. Enjoy your posts immensely. As always God bless you and yours and thanks again for everything you do!
I'm not sure if I believe in the supernatural, but I did hear a story about some burglars who were in a building when one of them said to the other, "Oh, no, we've been discovered! Quick, jump out the window!" The other burglar said, "But we're on the thirteenth floor," to which the first burglar said, "This is no time to be superstitious!!" 🙂
Believe what you want. However I've had many interactions with spirits or ghost and I know they exist. I've never been hurt or touched by them but I have spoke to them and gave commands which they followed. On three separate occasions different radios in my home turned on and played at their loudest volume settings. I tried manually to turn them off and used a remote control to no avail. I spoke loudly and said that is enough turn off that radio or I'll destroy it. It immediately turned off and then I had full control with the remote and manual controls. Also when I turned the radio on it was no longer at full volume but had returned to the volume of the volume control knob. It had played at maximum volume despite the volume control being set on 4 or just under half. The control knob didn't change settings only the volume. Take that for whatever you like. It's the truth and I'm a believer.
I don't believe ghosts exist, but I'm not sure whether the ghosts know that ;) Kidding aside the rational engineer in me says no of course they don't there's always an explanation that doesn't require the supernatural. And the night is no different than the day except for the amount of radiation in the visible spectrum. But on a dark fall night out on the farm, with the wind rustling the leaves, just ask me if I want to go for a lonely stroll to the abandoned house a bit down the road and listen to me come up with excuses why I do not want to do that...
I'm a skeptic as well. I've experience things I can't explain. Hahahaha. I wouldn't want to go into the old abandoned house you mentioned either. Based on that, I guess I'm kind of in the middle of the road on that one. :)
If you want to know what I believe I am a believer in demonic spirits. And yes it could very well be a demon or what they are called in the KJV devils(Mark 16:17&18). I believe it could very well have been a "familiar spirit" (Deut.18:9-14; 1 Sam.28). Or in simpler terms demons that are familiar with friends and loved ones to impersonate them. I do believe in the reality of such. Jesus my Lord cast out devils in His earthly ministry(Matt.4:23-25; Matt.8:28-34; Mark 5:1-19 and portions too). Jesus empowered His disciples to cast out devils in His Name(Luke 10:17-20; Mark 16:17&18; Acts 16:16-18). I believe the dead are either in Heaven(Acts 7:51-60; Phil.1:21-24) or Hell(Isa5:14; Matt.8:12; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 16:19-31). I personally have an easier time believing it being a work of a demon spirit in this incident than a natural explanation! I would live to hear a person who could give a natural explanation myself!
I decided to go ahead and tell you what I heard with my own ears. And recorded and placed on TH-cam. If anyone would like to go to my channel(Warren Roy)and look up my videos shorts you will NOT one but two videos of wierd noises heard in a church somewhere in Florida. I basically accept the natural explanation for the speakers had been left on and it reflected some type of sound! It was wierd. I have heard explanations. Some think it was near an Indian graveyard, or one even suggested UFO's! But whatever when I turned the speaker system down I didn't hear it. I would love for others to look at it and if they want to even comment. Thank you.
No kidding? I only experienced something like this one time after my mom died. To be honest, I don't really know if I was awake or asleep, if that makes any sense. It seemed so real but not real at the same time. I'm sorry to hear about your wife. :)

It is a pretty entertaining one. I hope you're having a good day, 2puffs. :)

I guess you have to take the good with the bad. Maybe the bad makes us appreciate the good even more. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. :)

Wow. I've had experiences that I can't really explain but nothing like this. That's very interesting. :)

I would like to hear that myself. It's hard to explain either way. Thank you for listening and commenting. :)
@@BradDison I hope you will look at my reply. And if you want to feel free to look at the two short videos in my TH-cam channel. I really heard that!

Wow. I watched them both. It almost sounds like an old 1 cylinder corn grinding mill. I'm not sure how to explain that. Thank you for sharing those.
