Love how Belle’s family has her back immediately and Dolly’s family is the complete opposite haha. Obviously everyone knows what Dolly’s like but her family are quite unsupportive, you start to get an idea of where some of her emotional issues come from
This is probably the 10th time I've rewatched this series. SO brilliant and hilarious! The art style, the storyline, just everything is amazing. I could watch it 300 more times haha. Discovered it on a whim last year, and have been watching it ever since. Really wish there was more episodes in the series! or a new series! 🥰

Dolly is something I once heard referred to as a " tragedy hoarder." Those people that needs to constantly make mountains out of ant hills. Their life is not stimulated unless some sort of cycle of drama is being perpetuated within their sphere. Growing up watching this as a teenager, I related to the over the topness of dolly, but having dealt with people like this in my real life I wouldn't want to touch them with a 10-foot pole. They drain you. Belle has either an appetite for punishment or the emotional mental fortitude of Hercules.
