Whether in sunlight or lowlight ; you should be able to take great pictures like the IPhone/Pixels and the S series/note lines on automatic mode.
JEROME ELLIS it does have a very competitive camera. Any TH-camr will tell you that. It's not the very best but definitely still great. And yes I think the earpiece should have been another speaker. That would have been insane. Boombox is absolutely amazing though

They're not doing anything noticeable, they used to be innovative but now they're just taking ideas from other manufacturers and putting them into their phones. It's not sad at all to be honest.

I've used LG phones for quite a few years now. I started with the Nexus 5, then the G4. Next was the G6, and now the V40. The only issue I've ever had was the boot loop problem with the G4 (it was an issue stemming from manufacturing flaw that plagued a lot of G4's). That phone was replaced for free and that replacement phone was flawless. I got the V40 primarily for the Quad DAC (and Sprint had a great deal on the lease). If you're an audiophile this is the phone for you. The camera works great, the thing is noticeably faster than my G6, and I can make it through the whole day without recharging the battery.
Just got the G7 ThinQ from Best Buy on sale for $549. Probably the best bargain I've gotten since the Essential phone went on sale for $200 a while back. There's basically no difference between the V40 and G7. Probably one of the most underrated phones out right now.
G7 is a great phone, no doubt, excluding battery life. I mean small amount of battery 3000mah on quad hd 6.1 display doesn't make sense. At least 3500 would've made this phone a king.

Well if u don't like the lock animation just go to devolper options and turn off your animations and that should take care of that animation n speed up the phone
this is a beast of a phone and what surprised me is that its battery seems to work fine and better than I expected, so overall seems like a great phone and a full package

The V30 is not a bad phone, but definitely not flagship level and less so a 800 bracket. If you can get it NIB for 350 or less then yes its a great phone.

This phone is selling for $300 right now (may 2020) on bh photo. I got it cause it has everything I need plus I can change to a new phone every year without breaking the bank.
