Rate my startup? 14 man league starting 1 qb, 2 rb, 3wr, 1 flex (RB,WR, or TE) and a D/ST. 7 bench, 4 taxi, 4 IR spots. My league seemed to value WR's and top tier RB's way more than QB's I think due to being able to start up to 3 RB's or 4 WR's depending on what flex is used for. Drafted RB's in 5th, 7th, 10th, 13th, and 18th.
1.10 - Garret Wilson
2.5 - Mahomes
3.10 - Rome Odunze
4.5 - Brock Bowers
5.10 - Deandre Swift (thinking I should have gone Adison here but felt like there was a tier drop off at RB's coming up and thought Adison might fall to me next round)
6.5 - Davante Adams (felt like good value in 6th despite age, and if this year doesn't work out, can trade to contender end of season for future draft picks)
7.10 - Blake Corum
8.5 - Justin Herbert (went as our 13th QB)
9.10 - Romeo Doubs (traded for Xavier Legette straight up immediately after draft as I'm projected to finish 12 and think Lregette has more potential)
10.5 - J.K. Dobbins (I'm way higher on this guy then most people. He's played 24 NFL games, if he can stay healthy I think it's a steal)
11.10 - Cowboys D/ST
12.5 - Jakobi Meyers
13.10 - Tyron Tracy
14.5 - J.J. McCarthy (can put on IR or taxi)
15.10 - Cade Otton
More Rb's and WR's rest of way, with exception of Justin Fields in 19th.
BTJ has gained about 300 pts on KTC in last 3 months, so i think the train haa almoat left the station. He could be special.

Just did my 1 QB 10 team rookie draft. 1.01 Marvin, 1.02 Nabers, 1.06 Brooks, 1.08 Thomas, 2.01 Caleb. Was hoping to get Bowers at the 1.06, but he was taken at the 1.04. 2.01 came down to Caleb/Daniels, went with the QB with the better offense.

Would you trade a projected mid to late 25 1st + for Bowers? Trying to acquire him without giving up too much.

I’m in an 8 team SF already have Hurts and Kyler. In the rookie draft would you take Jayden, Worthy, or Bowers?
In my Dynasty rookie draft I ended up with Nabors, Brooks, Daniels, Benson (1.2, 5, 9, 11) Polk (2.5) McCarthy (3.5), and Wiley (5.5). Hopefully that kickstarts the rebuild

Question regarding bpa vs. positional need.
I have 3 top 5 picks in a 1QB ppr dynasty league. 1.01 MHJ, 1.03 Rome Odunze (probably)....
and with the 5th pick I will likely have to decide between Brock Bowers or Jonathan Brooks. I have a great need at rb while Bowers is considered a "generational talent" what do I do?

Love it boys. Largely agree with everything here. If anything I might move Ladd up to the back of the C tier and Keon down to the top of F tier effectively eliminating that tier altogether. Might wanna move Wright up a tier too.
Regarding Odunze, I think it’s pretty optimistic to think he takes over Keenan as WR2 halfway through the year. I know he’s old and I know he’s just as new to the team as Odunze, but we can’t discount Keenan. Man was still a true elite WR last season and while I’m EXTREMELY optimistic about Odunze in dynasty and tbh might even prefer him over Nabers, I do genuinely think it’s gonna be a very rough entire rookie season

1. Even if they are equals as nfl prospects, as fantasy prospects they are not. JD can be terrible in real life and still put up points because of his rushing ability
2. Theyre not equals as prospects, in the real life nfl JD was a clear tier ahead of maye as a prospect
3. Although washington and new England are both bad landing spots they are not equal, sam howell averaged more ppg than mahomes in washington the first half of last year. Washington is a lot more fantasy friendly than new england. New england is the single worst landing spot and theyre in a division with all defensive juggernauts. Thats probably why washington had 1000 more passing yards and 8 more passing touchdowns than new england last year even though sam howell isnt any better than mac jones.
4. Jaydin is being drafted in redraft as a top 12qb and maye, who couldnt beat out brisset, even if he could play would be ranked between 26-32, probably for the reasons outlined above. I know its dynasty but market values react to in-season performances.
5. Value again. NOBODY is trading maye for JD because theyre not in the same tier. You can get way more for JD than maye in the trade market and its not close. If you want to trade for burrow, kyler, AR, etc. you can easily do it with JD as the main piece plus. You cant even get the conversation started with maye. You need maye olus 2 firsts to even start talking about trading him for someone like burrow.
6. JD is actually a starter this year. The fact hes playing and maye isnt is enough reason to bump maye down a tier.
7. Just to go deeper into market value. Ive done 20 drafts this year on 4 different platforms. JD has gone mostly between 2-3 in almost ever draft, with 5 beeing the lowest and thats on only 1 draft. Maye wasnt drafted top 4 in ANY draft. He was going between 5-10 in all of them. Being drafted between the 1.07 and 1.08 on average.
8. Early reports all offseason is that JD has been on fire and lighting it up in camp while maye has been struggling.
9. By your own logic, nabers and marvin were only drafted 2 spots away from each other so why arent they on the same tier? Id argue the gap in situation between NE and WAS for qb is wider than the gap between NY and ARI for wr. Wash was 15th in passing yards last year and NE was 28th. I repeat, WAS had almost 1000 more yards and 8 more passing td’s than new england last year and its not like howell is levels better than mac jones or anything.
I am taking Spencer Rattler at the top of EVERY 3rd Rnd rookie draft. 😅😅
