That's is a nice looking gun right there, way out of my budget but impressive. I just got a Canik Rival for my first pistol, I am looking for a 2nd one that's a little smaller to carry
Man I just picked this up! I can't believe I got it at $899 I was eyeballing this for way over a year. I had just got my 1911 S&W 45, couldn't pass that deal up!
There are several plastic half-circle washers and a couple of allen keys in those bags. No idea what the washers are for. The gun does not come with optic plates. I bought one from CZ.
@@lovetopew9054 Yeah, I thought the plates were sold separately, I had to buy one for my P10F. The half-circle plastic washers are probably recoil buffers, might be in the manual or something to youtube.
@@MrKlein83 I dug and they are shock buffers. Presumably they ride on the guide rod down in the frame. I don't know how they work, I was too lazy to research any further:)
Not with this slide. The rear sight is dovetailed into the optic cover plate. You either need to retrofit an optic plate with rear sight blades or go without a rear sight.
@@travelmail1172 thanks. My strong hand doesn’t depress the release. I traditionally have used right-hand oriented releases, and just manipulate them with my index or middle finger, as my thumb wouldn’t reach it if it was on the right side anyways.
Optics ready is a little misleading. Another gun tuber describes as "optics capable". I had to buy an optics plate, and good luck with that. The cz store is constantly sold out.
Yeah for sure, none of my guns get carried in cases at least. Conversely, Walther makes a nice case. So does Sig. CZ and Glock cases pretty much suck. Although you can at least get the Glock case open🤣
That gun looks like a work of art.
They are nice pistols.
Just bought one for $1,112. Yes, the CO model and yes, new!
Yeah. CZ has been aggressively cutting prices. I paid too much🤣
From where??

Caniks are nice for striker guns.
Don’t worry, that pistol will make you a better shooter.
Have fun,
Take care,
Be safe
@@deanmiles3505 practice makes me a better shooter. The gun doesn’t hurt😎
I thought the new shadow 2 OR had rear slide serrations? Was this gun purchased before 2023?
Yep. This is an “early” one. Bought it in November 2022.
Great purchase.
Just passed 7000 rounds, gun runs like a champ.
4:58 that sound so nice..
I'm getting one.
Everyone should! BSPS has a good price right now, $1299 FYI

$899? Post the link.
I bought one for 899 also. But it's not the optics ready model and it has the Single Action Only trigger.
the CZ shadow ts 2 is around 1600
Not a bad review but I'm curious about what's in the plastic bag above the magazines? Are those optics the plates?

Beautiful
Thank you
Nice!
Soooo jealous!!!!
Sooo. SEXY!!!!!
Save your pennies and you can have one too:)
It's on my list
Optic ready????
Find me a plate that a Holosun 507Comp will fit allowing you to use the rear site...
Thanks for your time

might have to get one only CZ that I have is the CZ P01 Omega and I love it
P01 is a nice gun too!
Does it come with a free plate of your choice for the optic? If so how to to get one ?
No plates are included.
Are u left handed? You were holding in your left.. The mag release looks too prominent for a left hander like me unfortunately, Was eager to try :(
Yes, I shoot left handed. The mag release hasn’t been an issue for me.
@@lovetopew9054 Interesting, thanks for replying. It is a beautiful gun :)

@@lovetopew9054 Ah, Very interesting, Awkward being a left hander but we have to be more adaptable ;)
There are no slide serrations on the rear of the gun?
Appears that way.
Because u buy this model to put an optic on. If u don't want an optic u get the regular version.
Older models don't have them. As of 2023-ish the OR models do have them now
Its 999$ now on PSA
That’s the regular Shadow 2. Optics ready is $1299.
damn one day for backround? glad i live in a free state.
Your medal is in the mail.

It’s literally what CZ calls it, so take it up with them.
I didn’t have any issues finding a quality plate.
1600 dollars and cz gives you a 3 dollar case. At least the case is the only negative.
Yeah for sure, none of my guns get carried in cases at least. Conversely, Walther makes a nice case. So does Sig. CZ and Glock cases pretty much suck. Although you can at least get the Glock case open🤣
Wow, no rear serrations
It should have them. IMO.
They assume that you will have reddot there and you will use it instead of serrations
@@dizzicz and that I’ll also use said red dot to punch rack it off barriers too, ingenious
@@dizzicz correct but I don’t like to use the optic to manipulate the slide. I’d rather have serrations.
They have them now, this is an older model.
Super Pistol.
Cz gun cases are super crap, especially the clips that hold it closed and the push button that's camouflaged behind the handle of the case, come on CZ
Yeah, I couldn’t get it open at first😂
@@lovetopew9054 😁same here
I cut if off.
I would rather buy a GREAT pistol in a crappy case, than a CRAPPY pistol, in a nice case.
Geeeeez show the gu n already
