I have the Shadow 2 in SAO, it is the most accurate gun I own and use for local matches, however the barrel is only 4 5/8" (4.625") and not 4.89". I changed 2 springs and now my trigger pull is a very crisp 2.5#. It is perfect for centerfire bullseye shooting. It loves 147 gr. ammo.
Best out of box is the Optic Ready Shadow 2. Made even more amazing with a simple spring change. I go through a detail of it on my channel. As well as the trigger action polishing. If you think the stock trigger is awesome, the polished trigger action will blow your mind.
Dennis b I think it’s absolutely criminal that you guys don’t yet have the optic ready Shadow 2. USPSA needs to change it’s ridiculous weight restrictions under Carry Optics. Very good review by the way. I’m all on board with the Mec-Gar mags as well.

But do you have the factory OPTIC READY Shadow 2 which will accept an optic right out of the box, not one that you need to send out to be milled for one like Big Johnson Guns and Gear has done with his, his are Shadow 2’s milled for an optic, they are not optic ready. There is a difference because the gun then needs to be milled for one brand of optic because the hole patterns are all different. I’ve already run three different brands on mine because it’s been milled by CZ to shoot an optic or still use the stock rear iron sights. Once you mill a nonoptic S2 to accept an optic, you can’t run iron sights anymore. On my channel I show the difference between the two.
These guns are just monsters in weight and performance. I've never owned one of these but I've had quite a few hammer/syriker fired CZ's. I do a ton of dryfire and have had to replace the trigger return spring on each hammer fired gun. If I plan on buying any CZ hammer guns in the future I'll replace the TRS right out of the gate.
I have the CZ P-10 F too but there is no comparison. I bought the Blue Shadow II a couple of days ago and will sell the P-10F. The Shadow will be my range gun and I have other 5" barrel guns for home defense otherwise I would keep it to. But no buyers remorse on the Shadow II, it's the best 9mm handgun that I have ever shot.

improve the stock s2 to compete with the accushadow: replace the disco with a pre b disconnecter, run a #11 recoil spring with a #13 main spring, reduced power trigger return spring, reduced power firing pin spring, floating trigger pin, extended firing pin, and competition hammer. For about $180 you can improve the S2 while maintaining reliability. I don't personally think the barrel bushing is necessary, but cajun gun works has one.
WHERE is the range at the beginning of this video? Do you find that the MAGAZINE RELEASE gets in the way of your SUPPORT HAND lying FLAT against the body of the gun? My CZ Shadow 2 has a VERY STIFF slide lock release. Is that normal?
Out of the box you need to change the hammer spring, to either a 8.5lb or 10.5 lb, recoil spring, I liek 10lb, put in an extended firing pin and reduced power spring and a reduced power trigger return spring, then the trigger is half way decent, if you want it to be better put in the Cajun Gunworks Upgrade kit.
Freedom week 2 is for the "assault weapons" ban meaning we will be able to have them "evil features" with regular mag releases on our rifle and regular mag releases on our ar pistols
Theres a lot more done to the gun then the base you have a barrel bushing upgraded trigger and a few other addons like extra springs and a replacement safety they call it the gunsmith special where I'm at because of the upgrades are ones gunsmith usually charge an arm a leg for and you can more easily replace the barrel if it comes to that.
@@baghdik18 - virtually every off-roster firearm is available and legal for law enforcement officers to purchase and own. If an officer decides to transfer it to a non-LEO citizen because they no longer want the firearm then it’s perfectly legal to transfer ownership through an FFL. let’s just say...that having law enforcement friends and siblings pays off every now and then...😉
The P10 is a nice pistol; it is *very* different to the Shadow 2, which is intended to be a competition gun out of the box. And it is. Outside CA, they go for $1200-$1350 or so. CalDOJ are poopyheads (technical term).

My buddy has two Shadow 2 (1.0 if you will), has 10’s of 1000’s of rounds through both of them (he averages about 40,000 rounds per year and not one of them is cracked. I have two Shadow 2’s (2.0) with the block that’s been milled, this puts the force of the slide back on the slide block pin rather than the frame.

No decocker. Most competition guns don't have a decocker. There is not a limit for USPSA. I believe there is for IPSC but I am not sure

P10C is a polymer frame striker fired service pistol this is an all steel machined competition pistol with a tuned trigger of course it costs more

I am not a 100% on that. I have about 10k rounds through mine with a light recoil springs and have had no issues.
