9:35 he means if you write out all the numbers in word form you won't find a "b" until you get to a billion!

11:44 The actual study was a little more complicated than that. It's actually more about the proteins(the fundamental building blocks of our cells) which bananas have 60% of ours(40% if you only count identical copies and not only functuall ones.) That makes a lot of sense. They are cell based after all, they too breath oxygen etc.But then again only about 2% of our DNA actually handles that the rest is either regulating those 2% or have no known function, so "50% of DNA" isn't really correct, but the reather close relationship certainly exists. By the way we share 23% "of our DNA" with Yeast so yeah.

15:18 It's "52!" (52 factorial) or 52*51*50...3*2*1). It's easier to get when you start with 1 card and keep adding more cards. If you want to try and grasp just how big a number that is, I'll link you clip from a Vsauce video about mathematical magic tricks, it truly put things into perspective.

This is a fun one, learned a few things from it. You should check out lights on a truck, either original or remade one. Is my favorite Christmas song for a couple years since I heard it.

DNA is more of a recipe than a blueprint. You can get all sorts of different cakes just by changing one or two ingredients.

The amount of ways you can stack a deck of cards is 52! Which is every integer from 1 to 52 multiplied by each other, that’s 80,658,175,200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 that’s eighty duovigintillion six hundred and fifty eight unvigintillion one hundred and seventy five vigintillion two hundred novemdecillion, give or take a few hundred octodecillion.

Number of ways to stack a deck of cards is equal to 52! (1*2*3*4*...*50*51*52).
Also could you react to his newest songs? :>

I was just going to comment this when I saw it in the video!
FYI: that equels to ~8 x 10^67 ( that is an eight with 67 zeros after it) which is ~3 times as many as there are atoms in the milkyway!
Edit: felt I needed to put in a disclaimer that I'm not a mathematician nor am I a scientist. Because someone will try and correct me on something.

Dna is so similar because DNA is also used to synthesize proteins and whatnot. And since we process same stuff, we have similar dna.

We share 1/2 our dna with bananas, but to be clear, we also share that dna with pretty much every multicellular organism
It’s the DNA that basically says “here is how a cell replicates” “here’s how to make proteins” “here’s how to break down nutrients” etc etc
If you think about it, the more low-level, basic systems are more or less the same for most life on earth, it’s just how it’s arranged or used. For example, we share something like 70% of our DNA with geckos, and 80% with cows.
Also, while it won’t give you your own vaults of Gold Bullion, that tangent off the Escobar line makes me think you’d love Stupendiums “Fiend Like Me” song he did for Evil Genius 2. Check it out if you have the chance👍

for combinations of cards in a standard deck of cards, I believe the math is a simple 52! which when put in nonmathematician terms it looks like this 52 * 51 * 50 * 49 . . . which totals up to 8.0658175e+67 or, 80,658,175,170,943,878,571,660,636,856,403,766,975,289,505,440,883,277,824,000,000,000,000 in normal people terms. For reference, the Galaxy has been estimated to have about a measly 100-400 billion stars. Granted both sets of numbers are so impossibly large that there is no reasonable way for a human being to ever have a solid frame of reference when it comes to this magnitude of numbers.
