Also, here in the flashback, Roswaal only has two blue eyes whereas Roswaal in the future has both a blue eye and orange colour eye. Hector also possess orange colour eyes plus he dresses like a clown. So either Roswaal is imitating him or there is somehow a part of Hector inside of him now.

This is a new info about the first Roswaal, i.e. the one in this scene. His name is Roswaal Altair Mathers. potential spoilers up ahead
basically he has like this forcefield around him that gets stronger the more he closed the gap between himself and his opponents. In the Light Novel and Web Novel versions of this fight, Roswaal gets beaten up by Hector from a distance, but as soon as Hector jabs his fingers into Roswaal, Roswaals organs are twisted and ruptured, his bones shattered.
The myth Hector is based off of his Hector of Troy, who was the strongest Troy warrior during the Trojan war. his name means "To Seize/Hold" which inspired his ability
(i said potential spoilers because idk if Hector will make a return in the LN and his ability might be explained there in the future)
doesnt come close to regulus authority, but still interesting
this is exactly how vicious mockery should work imo
Devil? Warlock? Mate, he's just a witch with something hanging between his legs
Isnt a warlock a male witch tho?
@@thesaviorofsouls5210 Yeah lol
Hector beat Roswaal so bad that turn him into a simp clown
Roswaal was always a simp, Hector only beat him so bad that he became a clown
Man uppcutted the highest tier of fire magic LOL

Really Rosewall, you're copying this guy?
Me: finally i think im starting to get whats going on
Hector: bonjour
Aizawa but even more depressed
I mean, he is the witch of melancholy
@@hammerdeluxe6009 don't you mean warlock of melancoly?
@@meatabogan2871 roswall called him a witch and i'm anime only, so, yeah.
@Truong Martin the "warlock" can also be translated as "devil"
@@hammerdeluxe6009 He called him a "majin" which is the male version of the word "majo". There is no direct translation for the word, but why they chose to translate it as devil instead of warlock or sorcerer I'll never understand. Devil doesn't make sense in context when they translate "majo" as witch
Roswaal buying time: look at me Hector
This is a new info about the first Roswaal, i.e. the one in this scene. His name is Roswaal Altair Mathers. Keep in mind the name Altair because all characters that are named after stars are super important to the story (the reason is not still understood so even LN/WN readers can’t answer that)
Edit: This is technically not a spoiler because it just shows that Roswaal is a important character in the story
Wow, Hector is just us but finally giving Roswaal a beating.
1:46 GATA GATA, GUTCHA GUTCHA, BAKI BAKI
He looks so done with everything in this cruel world.
1:38 gotta love how his voice changes up rq
Hector's ability allows him to control Gravity. Which in my opinion is super cool and his authority is probably the one I would want the most.
regulus authority is cool too
@@keuf3904 Regulus' authority is the best
@@4notherguy Yeah Regulus's ability is pretty broken. But I personally like Hector's more.
What the hell the ability to control gravity is absolutely broken.
@@anemme Regulus' authority also ignores physical laws (such as gravity, inertia), so wouldn't it be the most broken?
This must be the work of an enemy STAND
My second favorite Sin in Re:ZERO, first it's obvious
Regulus and Hector are my favorites too, the archibishop of wrath is my third

Hector looks like Subawaal(the statue rem and ram made.) and really you could consider him as a fusion of subaru and roswaal. His talk pattern is similar to Roswaal and his authority thing is kinda like unseen hand. He is basically Subawaal.
Hector is relatable, living is depressing.
That drip level is way too much. wait, this hector looks like Subaru with no redemption left.
Damn rezero still finds a way to out do themselves from episode to episode
And yet again, the wrong translation of "Majin" to "Devil", instead of "Warlock", as makes sense in context.
no, no. he is right. Hector is called as a demon, warlock or melancholy warlock
Yes
Majin is demon
@@c.d.mont.3281 @Saulo Almeida Read the words "in context" brainlet. If Majo is witch then Majin is ?????? It's not demon ffs.
That depends on whether Majin is spelled as 魔神 or 魔人.
Edit: judging by the reply below me, it's 魔人. So probably some overworked, underpaid simulsubber got tripped up by a homophone.
My guy looking like he needs sleep
Hector the child of Subaru and roswaal
Subawaal!
Just realized we couldn't see echidna's face in this clip. Maybe referring to the fact that this is the echidna in the temple that Emilia didn't recognize, being different from the one we've seen so far
0:16 what i think my crush will say if i ask her out
And I guess that thought makes you DEPRESSED and absolutely CRUSHED
I guess melancholy really does get you *down*.
The rare case of a warlock rather than a witch. So, I guess the known living witches/warlocks are Satella of Envy, Hector of Melancholy, and Pandora of (idk if they mentioned it) so far.
Vainglory
Mans looking like he enchanted himself with a minecraft enchantment table
My mood is hector in the mondays
Warlock would be the more accurate translation.
my last melatonin hormone trying to stop my depression reaching to my brain.
Roswaal: power of the elements < Hector: power of depression
Hector represents my Monday mood
I was so excited to see Hector. I was watching this during class and gasped. The teacher took my phone for the class
Bet this dude posesses Rosewall or something, he has the same speech quirk.
Nah roswaal just copied him
That's actually a fan theory!
That Echidna made some sorta deal with Hector and allowed him to possess Roswaal without the latter even realizing.
Oh wow I didn't notice that
Roswaal copied him
Next episode:
Hector: **beaten up**
Gustavo Fring: ...look at me Hector
Alternative tittle DIO VS RYOMEN SUKUNA
Man that was some great voice acting
The background art is so good. I really wanna know how Yoshito Takamine does it. It's beautiful and detailed without being over the top realistic for its characters. The ground, the trees, the buildings - so good.
Ok
Everybody Gangsta till EMIYA speaks like Roswaal
0:15 I'm i crazy or is Roswaal secretly Subarus magical fantasy land twin. THEY HAVE THE SAME FACE
Well, the show does like to state how similar they are.
Roswaal is basically Subaru gone full simp

The fact that hector has the same VA of the sukuna from jjk made it million times better
