    I’m glad it’s not just me still playing drytron lol. Every event where I can use it I do. I just love the deck ever since I first picked it up about a year ago. It’s also always great because I get to see other people make plays that gives me ideas for better combos or builds.

      @@vipayham3 Some formats are especially challenging, like when Bystials become common. It does feel dreadful during those times, fighting an uphill battle. It feels extremely satisfying defeating the best decks in the format using an underpowered deck. Don’t be mistaken, I still misplay A LOT but once in a while I get crazy plays like in this video. Thank you watching and for those encouraging words.

    good to see another drytron player ! Excited for new support but the nu2 light machine ritual limitation kinda sucks... Looking forward to your 30th season ranking gameplay dude :)

    Decided to take the time to really learn Drytron so I'll be referencing this video for a long while, the combos here are amazing and made me fully realize how absolutely absurd Natasha is, if I may ask, do you plan on sticking with this style of Drytron or are you going to go with the new Nu2 and embrace the Machine Ritual lock? Natasha seems to be a powerful wincon and I'm interested in knowing if the Nu2 consistency boost and D.A.D would be worth it.

      Thank you for enjoying my video and I’m glad to have inspired more players. I’m not sure how OCG players are handling Drytron, but TCG players seem to cut Natasha out entirely or put her in side deck. Her strength is in turn 2 and beyond. Players think she’s a brick when you go first so they rather go with more consistency/all gas.
      Nu2 is a huge boost for us as a starter. I think if you went first and already used Nu2, by turn 3, you should have enough cards to not have to rely on Nu2 too much and therefore can go into other rituals besides machines.
      Keep in mind Nu2 only restricts you if you used its effects. There are ways to summon it, yet not use its effects and still combo or ritual non-machines. Nu2 doesn’t have the restriction that the other smaller Drytrons do where it MUST be summoned by a Drytron effect. So if you Nova, One For One, Monster Reborn, etc. to summon it just to use it as an extra body and don’t plan to use any of its effects, you’re not restricted. This debate of cutting Natasha or not reminds me of how in TCG, some decks play 3 Pot of Prosperity and 1 Delta or 1 Prosperity and 3 Delta. They conflict but players keep both cards in main deck.
      Finally, for my opinion, I do not plan to cut Natasha unless I encounter a stronger reason in the future to do so. This is Master Duel, best of 1 and you have to make your deck as well rounded as possible. I rarely use Diviner to send N’tss so I cut her out of a couple duels and I did regret it sometimes. I rather have Natasha be a brick in hand going first than to regret and needing her in another game. When you win with her it feels so satisfying and feels like you’re cheating at the same time. You win games you should not have won. Just like in these replays, there are games where I have no cards on field against a full board and win because of Natasha.

      @@densai89 Thank you so much for the in depth reply! While I'm still learning the deck and want to play it in paper, I personally don't want to let Natasha go, so I think I'll do what you suggested and leave her in as a sneaky turn 3 wincon. Thank you again, this deck is amazingly fun with gorgeous monsters so I'll be on it for a long time.

      @@povertyprince5263 If you’re still learning, be sure to check out LoganJYA on TH-cam. He is the face of Drytrons and shows off multiple deck profiles, combo tutorials and sometimes features other players’ Drytron deck profiles. He also runs a Facebook group “Drytron Duelists” where many people discuss deck profiles, tech options, asking for advice, etc. He also sometimes features a player named Jordi Wang who is one of the most consistent high performing Drytron players out there. Jordi’s deck profiles are easy to understand because he explains his choices very well and he comes up with pretty wild decks (floodgate Drytrons with x3 There Can Only Be One and x3 Deck Lockdown). They’re older videos but I go rewatch those videos once in a while.
      The most difficult part of playing the deck is understanding the restriction that you cannot Special monsters that “could” be normal summoned/set. You’re so used to special summoning whatever you want, whenever you want. But don’t let that discourage you. It forces a player to innovate. In real life, I’m strictly a collector so I admire your courage to learn the deck in paper. Hope you enjoy learning and playing the deck!

    Hello, I'm still learning the deck so this video will be my companion for a while haha.
    I do have one question tho.
    Did you already see the new Voiceless Voice cards? Do you think that running those inside the drytron is viable or not?
    I can't wait to run the new drytron supports in master duel.
    Untill then let's keep fighting with what we have haha
    Many thanks for the video!

    Have you tried "Where Arf Thou?" with Droll or D.D. Crow? Gives you either a drytron name or a handtrap.
    You can also normal summon them and make fafnir or just keep them on hand as a threat.
    I would mix nova, where arf thou, emergency and jack in the hand for even more consistency, because all of them are once per turn. Sometimes that 2 nova in hand hurt.

    • @densai89
      @densai89  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve tried Where Arf Thou before in the past. It’s alright. Agree that having too many copies of one card ends up bricking you because the Field spell is also another Nova. But you have to already have a level 1 on board first. In a sense it’s kind of a win more for combo extenders. I don’t like to play hand traps that much so I usually opt for all gas. I used to hate stopping my opponent with hand traps and then can’t even combo on my turn because I don’t have two Drytrons, embarrassing.
      Jack-In-The-Hand is an ok card too, especially if you play Kurikara. Your opponent will almost always grab that card so you basically get to choose which Drytron to add.

    Como ves Drytron cuando llegue el Alfa Draconis y el nuevo soporte a MD?

    • @densai89
      @densai89  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Perdóname, no hablo español.
