I always loved Katy Perry’s Witness because she was experimenting with a new sound and it had a lot of bangers such as Chained To The Rhythm, Bon Appetit and Swish Swish.
"Reputation" is one of my favorite pop albums, and "Witness" definitely deserved to be a concept album with a film; the psychological aspects should not be ignored!
It's hard to say the Witness had no huge hits when literally all the main 3 singles from it either had crossed 1 billion views on TH-cam separately or are close to it. The album went #1. The singles were popular back at the time they were released. Sure, there were many other more popular hits at that time, but the success and the hype was there for Katy definitely! Something I cannot say about her music from the last 4 years.
The biggest hit ended up at only 73 on the US billboard year end chart, and the other singles missed the chart entirely. And with how big Katy was at the time, I think the album could’ve been literally anything and still would’ve gone #1.
to answer the first question: literally the 3 albums in the thumbnail. Plus Artpop (is perhaps lady) and Queen. Tho fans love Reputation and Artpop, and critics acually liked Sweetener. And, nobody kinda liked Witness. Some fans here and there but overall not really. And it's sad bc this is her best album so far. Same for Taylor, Gaga and Nicki, and arguably Ariana. Can't wait for KP6 (Woman's World TOMMORROW) and LG7
Sweetener by Ariana its definitely top 3 on her discography. Its such a important record on her career and for her life In my opinion Positions is her most debated album because a lot of people till date dont like it

I will always adore Bangerz! Miley was taking big risks updating her sound and transition from her Disney past. It certainly paid off, she earned the multi platinum glory and Grammy nomination
