I have done Kirara's vision story in the past and it was ALSO very well liked! So I decided to put together a cinematic fun reading for Lynette aswell to see how everyone might react! And the reception has been AMAZING so far! AND I love the idea of making this into its own little series :) I just love focusing on topics or certain events surrounding characters that often just never get told... With characters such as Lynette having such a BEAUTIFUL story surrounding her, it was just so much fun! ALSO you are indeed correct! I left the father part more open to hiding their personality as for those who might not be aware just yet :) THANK YOU FOR THE LOVELY COMMENT AHH

Fun fact: just like how lynette got her vision from trying to save her brother, lyney too got his from saving lynette by jumping off a cliff after her while she was being pursued. Even freminet got his from saving a bunch of kids from drowning
I haven't went to Fontaine yet but where can I find all of these info on how they get their visions and more of their character stuff besides the character story in the game?
instead of bombarding us with in-game quests involving making coffee, picking flowers, popping balloons and all that mundane stuff, we should be getting emotional stories into quests similar to this, there's a few side quests like that here and there but not enough imo.
I simply couldn't agree more. In my honest opinion, stories such as this being locked away to friendship level text is just simply SO SAD... imagine the tear jerking cutscenes. The MUSIC... My biggest criticism I've ever had over Genshin is that they always try to keep things way to simple in the actual story game play. When there is just this massive potential to give us these stories that truly connect us with the characters. And build an emotional bond!

@@Kouku04 okay JUST. YES. Easily one of my favorite events EVER. My possible idea/hope is that possibly someday along with hangout quests, we could get quests where we would look back through the eyes of the characters. Revealing something important in their past such as moments like this!
@@Kouku04 for me 1.1 Unreconciled Stars and 2.7 Hidden Dreams in the Depths event quests where my favorite, also any quest involving Albedo and Dainsleif, those 2 seem to always get involved in really intriguing stuff.

Having Lynette be the hero and swoop in to save us is something that I DESPERATELY need now haha. I absolutely love the thought! She's easily one of best parts about Fontaine for me :)
Imagine if they swap place abit. Lynette being the one who lost consciousness and lyney being the one who carried her and run away. We could hv a new anemo boi and its kinda scary cuz anemo boi = *cough*

The only suggestion I would make would be to use "they" or just say "her father" instead of "he" to keep it gender neutral but still appropriately spoiler free. For anyone seeking lore accuracy explanation: *SPOILER WARNING* "Father" is actually Arlecchino, the Harbinger known as The Knave. Her "Father" is only "male" in title. She is only known as "Father" because based on the House rules/traditions, the Tsaritsa is "Mother," since before she took over the House, all precious "owners" of the House were men. In her profile info, she seems to genuinely respects and admires Arlecchino and sees her as "family" and her savior because Arlecchino was the one who saved her from the noble who wanted her for her novelty (her cat features from her ancient bloodline that only she inherited). I really love Lynette's character and I just read all her character infos and it definitely reveals that "Father" is not gentle, but seemed to show them a lot of care and guidance, which I find really sweet because it humanizes the Harbinger.

One of the things I've always wished is for this information to be MUCH more displayed in the actual game ahaha. To access her vision story you will need to get Lynette ALLLL the way to friendship level 6 to be able to read it. As is the same with most other vision stories sadly. There actually was an old father, but Arlecchino took over. I think the old father was still there in Lynette’s story
