drama was very good. Gao Weiguang was terrific, Ouyang Nana was superb and the rest of the cast including Dong Sicheng, Ren Shihao and Huang Mengying were excellent. Ending was the pits. Hope they make a season 2 to finish what hasn't been answered and give us a happy ending to this drama.
Li Yingliang redeemed himself by sacrifice for Mr. Shen. Jingxue finally opened up her eyes to her love for Situ Weilian. But this ending crushes my soul and breaks my heart. Shen Zhiheng and Mi Lan should have had a happy ending. He promised to stay with her forever. Nuo. I'm weeping and refuse to accept this is the end. Mr. Mo transferred power and said it would make Zhiheng stronger than even himself. There has to be a Season 2 where we are allowed our happy ending. 💔😭
I really feel that Season 2 will come . We should manifest that Snowfall Season 2 will definitely come in 2025 and Mr Shen will become more powerful and he will explain more rules to Milan . 🎉❤

For those of you who is upset by the ending, well...in the original story Mr. Shen didn’t die including Mr. Li Yingliang. He got turned into a vampire by Situ instead.

The original story ended after they escaped from the tunnel, you know the underground part where they were held up. Situ turned Yingliang because he begged him to, Yingliang was injured pretty badly and wanted to continue to live so he promised Situ he would serve him, will do whatever he asks and Situ thought why not, having someone to be his slave to serve him. It was Situ who also turned Mi Lan, not Mr. Shen. Situ came from the original blood line and has the ability to do it, he is more powerful than Mr. Shen.

If Shen Zhiheng died, I don’t think Mi Lan would want to live, she probably will kill herself just like Zhu Yingtai in The Butterfly Lovers. Mi Lan on numerous occasions said that she is happy that she is alive because this world has Mr. Shen, and she wants to live with Mr. Shen together forever. I could not imagine how she could live in a world without Mr. Shen. The world without Mr. Shen in it is meaningless for her.
I agree. He tried to open the world to her but he is her world, and she refused to promise him in the end when he asked her to promise that she’ll live a good long life. She shook her head no and just whimpered, one of the few times she refuses him. But in my mind he survives and they go and experience the world together. And on rewatch I’m just watching to ep 23 😅

Before, he always refused to think himself as a love interest of Mi Lan because of the age gap. He doesn’t want to betray Mi Alan’s trust on him. Being a righteous person with integrity, for him, even the hint of them being a couple is an insult to him and Mi Lan. His intention in this relationship has always been pure and without any self interest, that is to save her from her misery and do anything he can to ensure that she’ll live a happy and fulfilling life.

I’m ok with this ending as we know Mr. Shen will eventually be consumed by his thirst for blood, he already couldn’t eat normal food. He doesn’t belong to the original clan and can’t survive without blood. He was created by Situ’s mom and therefore is imperfect. He will lose his humanity side of him. So if he dies now it’s better than when he is a monster later.

SPOILERS AHEAD: I know this isn't a popular opinion but i am relieved nothing happened between Sheng and Mi Lan in a physically romantic sense. She was so childish and naive it would have been off putting... instead the fact that he loved her without crossing that line proved to me that he really did have a good character, he really did have self control. Eventually, had he survived and she grew up some and matured, got to experience more life, if after that they started to have a romantic relationship, it would have been appropriate and more in line with his character anyway.
I agree , there was no chemistry just a deep bond, Mi Lan was still in a child’s mindset. But I can def imagine her maturing but still being adorable, and then Her and Shen coming together romantically

I wish this had a more completed ending. The end felt rushed, and the viewers never got the matured Mi LAN and Shen in love. Even without the love story, the ending feels incomplete in an unsatisfying way. Besides that I Loved this drama.
