I don't know if this counts as spoilers i do recall marisa being a habitual liar in the official games (more specifically in th6 where she lies about being reimu) so maybe she lied about being the culprit for whatever the reason but it's just pure speculation Here's an unrelated fact: If she really is the culprit (or one of the culprits), no wonder marisa is on the games icon since the beginning. Pretty nice, am I right?
!Spoilers for lost word story mode! I loved the reveal they did for her being the culprit. Like there wasn’t an “oh lemme challenge u first” it was just Dragon Marisa saying she caused the lost word and MC going “so u have chosen death” And it makes so much sense too because MC(or Lossy chan) had her whole identity wiped and watched her new found friends suffer so much because of the lost words. Idk i just wanted to rant lol
It’s actually the opposite ironically, Dragonrisa is titled “My New Friend” without the (?) given when MC-chan is unsure or doesn’t believe they are it(e.g. Fairy(?)). This is because Dragon Marisa reveals she’s behind LW Incidents(Honestly the way she phrases it and her being a PC makes me think it’s either an organization or something similar) to explain why she knows the Capital is dangerous and why MC-chan shouldn’t go there. *After she realizes her and MC’s Goals are in direct opposition* - If D8 Marisa was actually hostile, she would’ve just left and let our Loli MC get herself killed at the Capital. She’s not trying to kill MC-chan, she doesn’t even use her Last Word(I’m guessing the Timer on the False World they were in ran out which halted the fight, there’s no way MC-chan is strong enough to solo her yet). Lossy-chan recognises this and labels Marisa as “A Friend” as if they weren’t, *Marisa would’ve just left and this fight wouldn’t have occured*
@@vince5456 If I remember correctly, the figure that appeared when Z1 Marisa lost her name and became the Witch of Scarlet Dreams was (a) Marisa's silhuette. Most likely, she's at least the one behind the chapter 2 lost word. As for the other ones, it's possible, but hard to say for sure either way just yet. It's still possible that there are others creating lost words as well, since we don't know exactly what the capital is up to.
