We have a tree trimming company and so we often have dump trucks full of wood chips. In the winter, there is so much heat generated by the piles that they send billows of steam into the air. On more than one occasion people have tried to warn us our trucks were either on fire or experiencing some kind of mechanical issue because they thought it was smoke! I would often climb onto the chip piles to keep warm at jobs, until my husband told me to get back to work 😁🌳
@@1muddonna hahaha great story. You are correct about Woodchips giving off heat. What if each Woodchip pile we had turned into its own mini greenhouse and could support citrus in the middle of a peach orchard in Utah? Stay tuned ….
This is awesome, but I’m curious to know if you’ve ran into any issues with the gasses given off from the compose being trapped in those small areas & becoming dangerous &/or how do you counter it is so.
I haven’t had any issues. We have windows open ventilating the greenhouses. No problems either in the winter when the doors and windows shut. Plants thrive. All naturally occurring plant processes in nature.
I just discovered your channel and what you’re doing is so awesome!!! I really want to do something like this in our plot garden but it isn’t allowed to be that big (they have tons of rules) I’ve subscribed and will definitely be back. But it would be great if you could get a tripod for your filming since your videos make me pretty dizzy…
So the grass you just leave in black garbage bags? Do you still leave everything composting in there in the summer or do you take it out because it will raise the temperature too high? Great work!
Those blossoms are awesome
This was so informative! I really enjoyed it! Beautiful crops and well done!😁
Appreciate YOU! Thanks Cari. Have tons and tons of more things to show. 4 acres ahead
Great work. Where is your location if I may ask? God bless you.

Love your channel. Are the plants rooted in the bare soil or are they in pots underneath the compost?
@@arrhythmia100 thanks. Rooted in bare soil and we keep adding amendments

Have a tripod. Watch the newer ones as we are getting better at this as we are a new channel doing what no other gardening channel is doing.

Seen a guy bury a coil of pipe in compost and heated up water. Thought that was genius
@@improvisedsurvival5967 interesting. 🤔
Temp gun would be fun to see temps….
