Nice guide, well narrated, but the real challenge for new boaters, or boaters unfamiliar with New Rochelle waters, is the East channel past Davenport Neck out into the LI Sound. In particular, Spindle Rock and Hens and Chickens off Huckleberry Island. This passage is quite confusing and has been a haven for boat disasters. Many a prop, shaft, out drive and pod have been ripped off in that passage. That's the way the mechanics like it over here. I've seen more boats damaged from Spindle Rock than any other area in the Sound.
