    hi Samuel, i bought the orchestra complete 3 some time ago, its a great tool to come up with ideas
    btw, when you clear some instruments to be left with just one, save it as a snapshot (or a new instrument)
    that way you dont need to disable the other instruments all the time, and you can use them one by one, just a tip, having the complete one, i dont have that problem hehe 😁😎as always, nice video, cheers mate

    • @SamuFL
      @SamuFL  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes! Good point. Just save it as a snapshot in Kontakt and you will have it as individual instrument at your disposal. Nice! Why didn't I think of that?!

      @@SamuFL Do you have any thoughts at all on the weird problem I am having with this? (It's not how you use it, so maybe not, but worth asking.) I can use this library with Kontakt 7, or with Reaper, and both work fine. I can use Kontakt 7 with the MuseScore notation software using other libraries. I can't use MuseScore, Kontakt 7 and this library. The reason is the splash screen won't close! I have even used a shot gun and destroyed my screen but it still didn't close the damn thing! (I didn't, not really.) I have no idea what to do. Maybe contact Sonuscore.

    I absolutely love The Orchestra Complete 3. I am also in awe of how many ways Arpeggio can be pronounced. None of them necessarily "correct", but lots of variations. The pronunciation of ostinato is pretty much agreed upon.
    Great Overview and Demo!
    I think an overview of what you think is the best case scenario for each free library would be nice.

    The arps on this program are good for playing rapid strings, horns, etc. The strings sound nice. I have noticed some note stealing when playing extended chords in two hands. I also ran into sticking notes. Wrote to the company, but no response about whether this is a limitation of the entry level program or a bug that needs fixing. For free, it is pretty fun. And if you're separating the parts into different layers, the note stealing would (presumably) not be an issue.

    My FREE beginner poor man's template completely changed from BBCSCO Discover to this and projectsam's TFO, I'm only using BBC for pizzicatos now. This library sounds like it has dynamic layers and solo winds (I don't think they sound like it's recorded in pairs), unfortunately the flute is weak. But the ability to make your own sections is just perfect.

  • @genuinefreewilly5706

    Thanks for the info. Just downloaded it. I have only 3 free orchestral libraries. I use BBCSO a lot (in unconventional ways) but this beast is on another level. • @SamuFL

    • @SamuFL
      @SamuFL  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Ouff... I think Nucleus is absolutely worth it's money. You get much much more flexibility and content than with the free version of The Orchestra. Like, the full version of Sonuscore is for sure on par with all of the other major orchestral libraries, but the free version does have it's limitations.

    Can the MIDI be exported from arpeggiator?

    • @SamuFL
      @SamuFL  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think so. At least not in the free version of the software. That is a real limitation imho. Other libraries that offer export to midi function, I often use as a starting point and then mingle with the midi from there. I don't think that will work with this orchestrator, though...
