I need to replace just the ford emblem on the steering wheel. Do I have to take it all apart to do that?
Yes, i did that too. I bought the entire airbag with the new logo on it :))
What if in a weird way my second screw isn’t as easy to get to as yours is. Mins about 1”-2” farther down and into the plastic where you can’t get a screw driver in there

I will Go mad. I Stick the spring Off but the airbag dont want to come back. Its like there is more than this 2 Springs holding it. That makes me really angry.

I used this to replace the clock spring on my 13 focus.
Dealer wanted $1000 to do it, i told them to Foff and got the part from rockauto for $100 and pocketed the $900 difference.

@@mymusicaccount1456 what was your problem? My cruise control is working intermittently so I think the clock spring might be the issue.
@@JeanV1986 yeah cruise didn't work all the time, and the buttons on the left that control the display features like menu and trip reset also were flakey.

I repaired my 2103 Kuga's volume control button by the help of your video. The only difference was the airbag system's connector.

Une fois le couvercle complètement séparé des connexions des câbles, vous pouvez voir les boutons sur la surface arrière. Vérifiez tout contact lâche dans les câbles et les connecteurs. Le problème peut également provenir de ces connecteurs. Si les connecteurs et les câbles sont intacts, passez à l'étape suivante. Étape 2 : Vous verrez que les groupes de boutons se présentent sous la forme d’un cadre. Quel que soit le bouton défectueux, supprimez ce groupe avec sa boîte. Lorsque vous supprimez le groupe de boutons concerné, vous pouvez voir les clips sur les bords de la boîte. Retirez délicatement ces clips et très soigneusement. À l’intérieur du boîtier, il y a une partie en silicone avec laquelle les boutons entrent en contact et des rondelles en cuivre qui permettent au circuit de fonctionner. S'il y a de l'oxydation sur ces pièces en cuivre, nettoyez-les soigneusement. Je vous recommande de ne pas utiliser de produits chimiques trop agressifs. Assemblez les pièces après le nettoyage. (Remarque : je ne connais pas le français. J'espère que Google a traduit correctement ce que j'ai écrit.)

You really dont have to disconnect battery. Even if you did you would need to wait for restraint system to deplete its battery backup
I believe he did say "At this point you should unhook the battery" or something to that effect. When I did this, I disconnected the battery at the first to stop the horn from beeping while manipulating the clips. Works better that way because it does take some pressure to get the clips loose and the airbag assembly out.
