I could see Sega do something big for Blaze, more specifically, having us explore more of her dimension. Outside of Rush Adventure and the IDW comics, we haven't seen much else, but with Ian Flynn as writer. I can bet that he wanted for something big
Listen, I don't mind Year of Blaze, I don't mind Year of Silver - I just want out Silver hedgehog and fire cat to get some more spotlight. If that's a game, a film cameo, or even just ANY comprehensibly better usage than whatever SEGA gas been sitting on for the past 18 years, that would be better than nothing. I just wanna play as Silver and blaze again.
I see what you mean. Granted they have been playable in spin off titles but yeah being playable in a more mainline platformer title is the same vision I would like them in. Granted more so Blaze than Silver xD
I’m glad we had the year of shadow (he’s my 1º favorite of all the characters), but blaze is LITERALY my favorite female character and the 5º favorite ( for some reason she’s getting on 3-2 favorite, i’m so obsessed with her)
As much as I would love that, the general audience don't really know much about Blaze to allow her to have her own game. This isn't a Shadow situation where he blew up cause he was an opposite of Sonic while Blaze is close to being a parallel to him. That and the majority of the general audience first saw her in a supporting role in Sonic 06 so that didn't help gain her much traction of favouritism I feel. Us who know her true origins we are the ones who adore her most xD
@@TURBOXLR that’s all the more reason why she needs to have a focus story point and she’s more than just an parallel to Sonic slightly similar in their roles but vastly different what was shown in 06 wasn’t her true self and in my opinion was an absolute disaster of her character she was great in the Rush games and already had a character development in should of adapted toward that. Sega botched up with them rushing to produce 06. They need to give her a proper origins in the Sol Dimension she should have never been in 06 at all. I believe she really has great potential and Sega is really wasting her, if they ever do give her the spotlight I hope to God they don’t put her as always being Silver’s sidekick she’s not and shouldn’t be she deserves to be her own character in stay that way.

I know Eggman Nega shares Blaze’s anniversary to counter my point but how many people genuinely care about Eggman Nega? I know Eggman himself has fans like the YTuber Clement but I haven’t seen the same fan support for Eggman Nega.

A remake of Sonic 06 and a comic series that essentially recaps the Rush games would be nice.
