Your assessment of the BO6030 matches my own. I bought mine second hand about the time you got yours. I'm really pleased with it. Little dust when hooked up to a vacuum, and little vibration too. An effective sander. My only issue was having to buy new discs as my other sander is a DBO180Z with a 125mm so smaller than the BO6030's 150mm discs.
Thanks for the vid(creator). I have a bit of an odd question(aimed at anyone). Can you please assist me. I bought a new one about 2 weeks ago. I just wanted to find out, does the switch have a bit of play in the longitudinal direction on yours ? It seems to move a bit too much for my liking, just want to make sure that it's not a defect.

I know what you mean about the new discs as my old sander was also 125mm. I still need to get 180grit and then others above 240.

I've just checked mine, there is some play in the switch but it is very minimal.
@stuffbyneilsmith Thank you for checking. Truly appreciated. Mine seems to move quite a lot.
It's no problem, I hope that you are able to get it sorted or still able to use it with no major issues.
