My trip out that way only allowed for about a half day there. Wanted more but circumstances didn't allow. Loved it and wish I could've spent a couple of days hiking and just taking it in. I'm sure I'll make it back someday, the Black Hills was a gorgeous area. Unrelated: I recently watched a documentary about the west called EVERYTHING IN THE SONG IS TRUE, focusing on 4 interesting people and how they strive to uphold old traditions of Western life. I think you'd really love it. If you can come across it and wanted to let you know about it.
To everyone who is reading this, you’re beautiful and an amazing person. Please exercise frequently and eat more fruits/veggies. I wish you all good health, great success, and everlasting happiness!!!!!!
Devil's Tower is quite an amazing butte that I've ever seen. It's a piece of 365 piece of volcanic rock as stated by Edison the firefly from JumpStart 2nd Grade. I haven't seen it before, but I hear that it's a hot national monument.
I have only visited DevilscTower once, back in 2012. I'm not sure I can go back without being reminded of the lunatics who believe that it's a giant tree stump. 😡
ROFL, how big and impressive it is? I had the opposite reaction. I grew up with Close Encounters so I expected it to be huge, it looks tiny in the giant open space it is in. Take in the full days drive to get to with NOTHING else around it and you have to really want to visit here to go.
Ever seen Avatar? Or you may have played the Legend of Zelda and might be familiar with the Great Deku Tree. This a theory in some circles, it's lore in others...and to some history.@@WereintheRockies

Thank you so much for sharing! I found it and I’ll watch it!

Awesome I love that place. I have been there 7 times and look forward to my next visit.
You've been there a lot! It is so unique, we can understand why.
My dad took me there when I was like 15-16 and remember it being one of the coolest parts of our entire trip.
It is definitely very memorable 😀
Great video! Thanks! ❤
Thanks for watching!

This was beautiful and charming! Thank you!
Just got back! Loved it!
It's great isn't it?
@We're in the Rockies INCREDIBLE! We camped in a teepee just outside of it. Nothing like waking up to look at that in the morning! ❤️

Yes, it is off the beaten path but we thought it was fabulous.
The best way is to walk up from the Camp Ground and take it all in.
There were these guys who climbed it once
Is anyone else here from MISTER MANTICORE?
It's a tree stump
It does appear to look that way, doesn't it? Although, it would be a VERY, VERY, VERY large one. 😂
