When I grew up in Michigan we started after labor day. My kids went to school in Idaho and the started just before labor day, then took off for the fair and harvest

I just really like TH-cam, over Facebook. Facebook doesn't share as much content unless you pay to have it seen. So, I'm trying to use it less and less.

Oh, and for the record, I did not find the butterflies in the least bit confusing. They are stylized representations, seemingly influenced by Indian henna designs or maybe Eastern European lace/tatting designs (I watch an art doll makers YT channel called Enchanterium, (fairies, fantasy creatures, cyberpunk space aliens) that is created by two Polish sisters , one of the sisters is a Henna tattoo artist, and I think she would love these, so you see where I'm coming from) -- with the technique you used on this live, it resembled a lovely remesh of Indian henna designs and Indian batik dye -- with a clean CZ twist.
I don’t have a Facebook account either and don’t care to except so much is on Facebook for all the card stuff and nails. I’m missing so much but I don’t have time for that. I’m so glad you love TH-cam because it’s all I can handle! Luv u!

Beautiful card. I also found you while Covid pandemic was happening and searching for a new hobby. You give me inspiration! I finally broke down and joined Facebook, but I am really protesting. I think social media will be the death of us.
I kind of agree. I like TH-cam because it allows small business and content creators like me a chance to build a business, it doesn't seem ageist either, as in, I can be a 56 year old content creator and that's okay!

I don’t even like butterflies normally but I love these! I’m more of a dragonfly person I guess, but these are so cool! And you cracked me up! As always. You have a gorgeous card in front of you and you decide “sentiment, what do I want for a sentiment? CRAPTASTIC???? Wow! Lol But you did it! I’m not at the end yet, but I know you probably think you have too many butterflies at the sentiment point, use the extra on the envelope or the smaller one inside. I’d say small one in corner of envelope. Let’s see what you do. Btw,,, that battery eraser SUCKS! Waste of money. I can’t get anything off with that. The sanding blocks Jen uses are better than anything. Even the mono eraser
It is a handmade card. It isn't supposed to be perfect. Only you will know if there is a boo boo. Love the cards. Go Minnesota - I'm from there as well. Audra
I hope your hands ok! Girl I cut my pinkie finger last week cutting the end off a corn cob! Pushing with all my force with a huge knife and the corn slid and the only thing that stopped me from cutting off the end of my finger was that I’ve been doing gel on my nails! I never ever would’ve thought that would’ve stopped it! Acrylic yes, gel? Not so much, but it did! It’s the same finger last year while sharpening a big knife I missed sliding it through the sharpener and cut through the knuckle so badly it cut a tendon and now my finger looks like a ski slope at the end! What a mess that was home alone!

Yes, one clear and one green, i tape them together like Jennifer McGuire. Always cut with the green sides facing IN. And only cut on one plate.
Cathy what is the wet rag you are using to wipe ink off stamps? I use Gina K 's shammy and love it! Just curious if there is another one out there....
It's the one from Lawn Fawn, their stamp shammy Linked in the description. I also have Gina's but it's in the wash!
