Hi there, For teachers, you will be asked to enter the name, address, and telephone number of the academic institution where you taught in 2023 as it would be required for populating your Form 8843.

I worked in the US in 2022 and 2023 with Summer "Work and Travel" program and I haven't done my 2022 tax refund yet. Can I still do it with my 2023 tax return or it is too late? and what documents do I need besides W2?

Yes you can definitely catch up now and prepare your tax returns for both 2022 and 2023 on Sprintax. Once you log in or create your account on Sprintax, select the year that you want to file for, answer the questions based on that year, and we will prepare the relevant tax documents for you. You will need to do this for each year separately. If your only source of income was employment income then Form W-2 is all you need, but if you did receive any other income that is reported on Form 1042-S or Form 1099 you should also provide these documents too.

Hello! I worked in California from December 2022 to March 2023 and I am on my second Works and Travel (J1 visa) from December 2023 to March 2024. My W2 form only has the year 2023. What can I do? I'm really lost.

Hi, I worked in the US during the summer of 2023 and this will be my first time filling my US tax return so I was wondering, how I will receive my refund and if it’s necessary for me to have an US bank account for it?
