Awful movie. All the reviews on IMDB are right. It was incredibly boring, creepy, dull and down right bizarre. A huge shock because both actresses are talented, but maybe cuz the subject matter is paedophilia and based on a true story, maybe they just didnt feel comfortable.

Okay this movie is kinda based on a real story. Why are we wanting to glorify a pedophile? Or at least have this make it sound like they are in the gray as it is in the trailer? It’s an adult taking advantage of a 12 year old (I think) . The only reason there isn’t an uproar is because if the roles were reversed for this movie people would be pissed on the dude taking advantage of a 12 year old girl. Yuck, no thanks.

There is not enough star power or compelling enough plot for me to want to go and see this movie.
Something has to ''stand out'' and the trailer fails to do that. They should have had Pierce Bronson play the lead guy and not this unknown individual. Bad move with producers trying to save money there. ------- Because the two leads are not A Listers, you should have got a bigger star to play Julianna's husband.

@@ZannaZatanna1 ----- OR . . . how about Taylor Lautner play the husband..? He's ethnic, so I'm not racist. OR producers could have got Esai Morales to play it. Even Rami Malek...!!!! He would have been great. OR how about Jeff Goldblum...? He's ethnic too. I mention Pierce because he's an A-lister. Look. I'm the consumer so I am right. The 3 TOP LEADS SHOULD ALL BE THE DRAW..!!! Right now, it's uh, just b l a h .... B U T it will be a hit, because I read the LA Times critic Justin Chang & he said the acting is TOP NOTCH..!!! SO, it will do very well at the box office..!!! ❤

@@ZannaZatanna1 - I removed and adjusted my comment. He has every right as an under-dog to be there, working alongside these two Oscar winners. Thanks for the lesson.
