Cool video! I immensely enjoyed seeing and hearing about how it works. I had a general idea but you did a great job explaining it further. Thank you 👍. 😊😊😊
To think that the canal came to be even thought about is all because one man, Lessep wanted to do something for economics...and also his techno optimism believes.
I understand it has to pay for upkeep and maintenance and making it larger even though it still cannot handle any of the American super carriers but i believe that has to do with the fact they are Nuclear powered and not size wise. But why charge civilian sailboats and motor yachts that are very small compared to those large container ships???
Uggghhhh. Anyone saying that it's enoyable to be outside looking at the nature have lived outside most their life in 100 F + 80% relative humidity. It SUCKS going through that. It's ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE. I WANTED to go outside and take some pictures going through one of the locks and then again at the lake, but the humidity kept me inside. On the other hand since our ship stopped and stayed overnight, THAT was nice.
Huge carbon emitters like this project are facing a drought which reduces hull drafts. Increase exhaust by scrambling transport and the spiral climbs. Less Draft / Less Profit more heat...
Absolutely! There's MUCH less carbon produced by sailing all the way around South America, right little fella? You really are as sharp as a marble, aren't you?
Words alone can't describe the magnitude and dynamics of works in Panama canal, important services it offers, really impressive 😎👍👏👏
😍😍
Excellent video! Panama Canal still one the wonders of the world
Correct!

Wonderful!!!
Rất tuyệt vời ok 🥰
The "mules" only guide the ships; they do not pull or propel them.
Is this stuff written by AI or translated into English? The wording is pretty weird.

Tennessee has 90%+ humidity for most of the time and it has the same if not a higher temperature fluctuation.
I thought it was a 3.1 billion dollar expansion. Bechtel won't be happy.
Human labor built it,and lots of labor died, deseases.

Scrambling means off-loading containers and moving on to trains or another ship. Panamax-not@@brucemitchell5637
