As a beekeeper, I love all things coming from a beehive🐝 Bear in mind though, that since bees source all their materials locally, the constituents of propolis vary hugely depending on the environment and how the propolis is extracted. So all propolis is not created equal. If you have pollen or bee venom allergy, be careful with propolis too. Meanwhile waiting for my COSRX propolis toner to arrive.

I have psoriasis and super dry, flakey skin and the cosrx propolis ampoule is honestly a life saver! It soothes my skin and helps keep the psoriasis patches to a minimum. I rarely get them on my face now. And it gives my face a beautiful glow and my face always feels so supple and bouncy. Totally interested in the synergy toner if it can boost the glow! I bet those two products are a dream team!

In know that Propolis contains fragrance compounds by itself like Cinnamic alcohol and Benzyl salicylate, but the exact composition can vary quite a bit. With plant and natural extracts I'm always a bit hesistant to use it, because they have quite complex compositions and can be unstable as well. But I need to look more into the literature wether it's worth adding it to a routine.
I just want to throw in another Propolis product - The Tosowoong Propolis Brightening Essence, with 75% propolis extract and ingredients like, niacinamide, galactomyces, bfida ferment filtrate, centella, honey, royal Jelly etc. to name a few. It also contains EGF (rh-Oligopeptide-1) as a star ingredient, which helps with anti-aging and skin repair. Tosowoong also makes a green tea version of this essence with 75% fermented green tea extract. Both products are great, I especially like the green tea one and they're both really inexpensive.
About the bee venom in the I'm From Honey Mask: I'd suggest getting the small sample in tube form for people who might be scared of a reaction but are still curious to try this. I'm saying this because I have this mask (bought it without realizing bee venom was in it) and have used it several times so far without any reaction... even though I'm allergic to bee stings. Don't get this wrong, I won't go into an anaphylactic shock from 1 sting alone - so I'm not the most allergic person out there - but the few times I've been stung in my life did leave localized symptoms around the sting area for up to 2 weeks.
Aaaanyway, back to the mask, I always use it when I take a nice, long bath so it will stay on my face for 40-60 minutes... and still, no negative reaction. :3
TL;DR: Even if you are allergic to bee stings you might still be able to use this mask just fine - just please don't use it if you are *highly* allergic!
I use the cosrx overnight honey pack as a shower mask/ wash off mask. I don't think it is occlusive enough even as a sleeping pack. But I triple cleanse my face before showering, and then I need something to keep hydration in during the shower, since the warm water can be drying. I really like this product for that purpose!
I'm using the Skinfood essence in my current skincare routine and I'm absolutely loving it 😍Although I prefer pump bottles, ngl the fancy dropper system that the Skinfood one has makes me feel like I'm using something high-end 😆
Yeay! I LOVE propolis and honey skincare! My fave propolis serum will be the Iunik, tho it does contain Bergamot oil, and I'm also using the COSRX Honey and Ceramides Full Moisture for my night moisturizer 😍

I use the CosRX Proplolis light ampoules and the Iunik overnight mask and love them. Just added the CosRX Propolis Light Moisturiser to my routine. First impressions of that are good but hasn’t even been a week yet. Definitely getting the I’m From Honey mask after trying a sample

Just using the cosrx propolis toner on dry acne prone skin and I love it. Keen to try a serum too but I’m also using snail and actives at night so it’s hard to fit everything in!

I have always wanted to try the I’m from mask, but it is quite expensive, even on sale. I have the skinfood one on the way, to add to my upcoming autumn/winter routine. I love the cosrx honey sleeping mask, but I must say that iunik one (the one I spied in your last video👀) is really overtaking the cosr. The toner does sound quite interesting, but currently I have 6 toners not counting essences on the go. Now, if I had a TH-cam channel I could justifying having more but I only got one face. I love how well you explain the different products and whom they would suit the best. 🙌🏻❤️
Haha yes, the amount of products I have significantly increased when TH-cam became my job! Before this I didn't even fill that rotating shelf with skincare!

Hi, you can search the product in SkinCarisma, and they have the ingredient list for the product, as well as categorizes them saying what is good and what is an fungal acne trigger, as well as many others. Of course they don’t have all products, but I’ve found it very helpful. Hope that help☺️

Hi there! There’s also a website called sezia.co and if you enter the ingredient list of a product into it, it will go through every ingredient and tell you if each ingredient as well as the product is fungal acne safe !! it’s been a life saver for me ☺️
I'm from has the Honey serum and moisturizer also. Very thick but I really love them. I have the IUNIK sleeping mask and love it. Just upped my retinoid treatment so I am going to need some soothing. Thank you for your videos.

@@karenwygal7022 I don't get redness or any sort of irritation to test how soothing it is and it was my first propolis product so can't say much. But surely helps in calming your skin!
@@karenwygal7022 you should go back to Kelly's ' this or that' before she goes essential oil free. She compared it to the skin food. She liked it apart from the essential oil (she prefer the skin food). I bought it based on that video and loves it!
Yeah, I've been waiting for a comparison of the Cosrx and the Iunik masks! The Cosrx one is good but I feel like trying a new one. 🙂 Maybe I am missing a new holy grail. 😁

... suggestions, try using medicinal grade honey ( has not been filtered or heated contains pollen-royal jelly and propolis in small amounts) it's thick and not clear or runny. Take about 1/4th teaspoon add propolis tincture mix together with a toothpick until smooth apply to clean face and neck leave on for as long as possible. Amazing Results on very first treatment, eventually will clear dark spots and soften skin. My motto is if you can't eat it why use artificial expensive products. Drink warm organic lemon water use the lemon peel as a skin toner rub all over face and neck to clear blackheads and pimples etc. Whip up a whole egg apply as a skin tightener leave on until dry rinse with cold water. eat plain yogurt apply to face and neck..... why waste good money on beauty products. Apple cider vinegar is powerful. Helps with toenail fungus and is a great hair rinse for growths on the scalp, yes it kind of stinks....after hair drys rinse throughly and wash with a mild shampoo, can leave hair shiny and healthy.
Baking soda is a good deodorant try adding drops of your favorite essential oils.

I know this is apples to oranges, but for general hydration and soothing, which would you choose between the Skin Food Honey Propolis Essence and the Purito Unscented Centella Serum?
Hmmm, if you just need pure, lightweight hydration and soothing I'd say purito.
If u use a proplolis toner ( like cosrx proplolis toner) do u need a propolis serum ? Like the wishtrend poly propolis or the skin food ,I really want but I don't care for the cosrx proplolis light serum so I don't know if I need it or which one to get also kinda wanted to try the wishtrend quad essence I know their older but still haven't tried them.
I bought the mini size of the cosrx toner. Gotta make sure I love it. Then I’ll buy the whole size. :)
hi Kelly, I have to giggle every time you talk about the Wishtrend propolis ampoule actually almost being the Houttuynia Cordata ampoule. I have an ampoule with 80% propolis and it leaves my skin so sticky 😭
I really want to like it, but even just 3 drops of the product makes everything stick to my skin. Is there a way to use this stuff without making my skin so sticky? I use a light moisturizer afterwards, but the propolis just makes that tacky too...

my sister is 20+ and has really imbalance skin. I really wanna help her straighten her skin barrier, and also help her clear her texture and acne.
I don't wanna push too much into her daily routine since she has a very basic (and fast) one, which I believe is good.
I do wanna add the Wishtrend acid duo cleanser you recommended on as a gentle peel because I don't think she can deal with stronger peelings now, and she does need peeling.
I also really want to add up something with *propolis* to her routine. She really hates heavy layers.
I watched a few of your videos to try and figure out if an ampoule is what I need to get for her, or an essence or a serum...

Great video! I’m interested in the Wishtrend Polyphenols because I have A LOT of redness, sensitivity, and acne. But I see it contains witch hazel, which is an ingredient that I’ve always been afraid of.
witch hazel has been an ingredient ive always stayed away from as products such as the thayers witch hazel and lush tea totaller. nonetheless this wishtrend serum is my HG it's so good on my skin, i think you won’t regret it!

Have u tried the bonojour proplolis toner,I was looking at it and the bottle looks huge along with the green tea bomb toner. I use the cosrx proplolis toner but I was debating oñ get the wishtrend poly propolis serum or skinfold but can't decide and I want to try the wishtrend essence too. Everyone raves about the cord honey mask and I'm not really a fan even as a sleep mask and I really don't care for the cord proplolis serum either but thank goodness I got it on super sale at my Ulta idk if they did away with the product their but I got it for 4$ so it wasn't a total loss but I do love the DK honey mask. I also like the farmacyserum that has honey royal jelly and all that I don't do frangerance essential oils but I can't barely smell it and if doesn't bother my skin but it's so expensive for what it is that's why I have not repurchased it cause I can get so much k skincare for 50$ ..lol 😂 that's how I look at it when I look af Western skincare I'm like I can get more goodies for that price especially serums and eyecreams western eye cream is like over 50$ for .5 onces and u can get one once or alittle more then one once for a quarter of the price and lots more good ingredients..

Nihal Singh I've noticed that people that follow Asian skincare don't care for retinol as an ingredient because it's goes against their basic idea of using gentle hydrating products for the skin. I saw a video with the curator of Soko Glam explaining why retinol is not really used in Asian skincare.

I'm looking for something rich & soothing to combat the effects of my tretinoin. My skin is dry already as it is & the tret is just making me look like a shedding snake!... any recommendations? You're amazing!
I have eczema and really dry/menopausal skin, plus I'm on tretinoin. I love the laneige cream skin refiner over my toner and essence for the extra moisture it gives my super dry skin. I also like the Illyoon ceramide cream as a moisturiser day and night. At night I use more serums and a sleeping pack to seal everything in (currently the puritto centella sleeping pack). I think I may try some propolis once I've finished some of my other serums though. I hope that helps.
I'd focus on the cosrx serum or skinfood serum if you're looking for propolis. I also second Loraine on the cream skin refiner from laneige and illiyoon cream! I'd also recommend a facial oil if you aren't using one already. My favorite is from stratia (american brand), it's called fortify.

Otherwise I use Trentinon 0.05% of 5 months and Retinol 0,05%, can I use also with they?

the iunik propolis sleeping mask broke me out :( it gave me comedogenic acne those painful under the skin pimples same thing with the beta glucan moisturizer
Same! The beta glucan ruined my skin for a few days it was terrible
Kelly please help! I have been struggling with redness a lot lately. It might be from dryness, or just winter air. And it's making the acne and scars that I do have look worse! Do you have any suggestions of ingredients or products that would help calm the redness down. I've tried the I'm from mugwort essence and it didn't really help with the redness at all. Maybe the redness is a skin barrier problem. I'm not sure.

I’ve been using the propolis vitamin synergy serum and besides some hydration I haven’t noticed any other type of improvements... should I stop using it if I’m not seeing any benefit or does it take longer than a month to see results ?

I love your videos ! I used a link in one of your videos to purchase the skin food propolis and when it arrived i was a little nervous. Some videos I see on the product say it has a serum like texture and no smell. Mine was more water like and had almost a perfume smell? I really wanted to try it but ended up sending it back . Any help on this Would be great.
Who was the seller? I wouldn't be able to tell you about your specific order but if it didn't look like the product in this video then it may not have been the same thing. (I strive to only link trusted and authentic sellers/shops).
@@KellyDriscoll thank you for the reply. I completely understand. It was a direct link to Amazon from a video you posted. It says seller is skin food since 1957. I DID reorder from the same seller and this one did not have the same parfume smell ... how weird.
