Best mod for handline on the 4s Outcast was putting 1/8 buggy wheels and tires.. The thing was on rails after that.. I'm adding a 4s slipper set up to my Senton Mega soon..Good video bro!..I took the servo saver off my Sentons..Way better now.
I'm just concerned if I remove the saver on these big tire trucks it'll kill servo gears fast. But nice tips.. yeah I'm going to downsize the tires on my Outcast soon and see how I like that.
@@netcruzer I used a nylon horn so it will flex a bit still..Good to go for a year or so now on the stock mega servo

Which is the most durable and easiest to work on in your opinion?
The new 4S models with center diffs are most durable. They are all very similar to work on.

You gotta turn punch setting down to 2, that way you can still wheelie easy, but you can also keep the front down if you want to.
Wondering what the granite will be like with the wide Arrma kit , typhon 17mm Huns and them 4s backflip lp s ? Prob too heavy and driveshafts or something will get wasted but I’m gonna try if Jenny’s has the parts
You’ll be smoking the slipper or breaking it. Get a 4S diff module to try and retrofit or get a new 4S outcast then it’s all done for you!
Do you prefer the Arrma granite BLX or the jlb cheetah 120a v2? Which one handles better? Which one is more durable? Which one puts the bigger smile in your face?
Do not buy the job cheetah..... I have one, it's fast but it's very unreliable... Breaks easily.. broke the2nd day I had it..took it for repair of a bearing and within 5 minutes if use another part broke ..Andi wasn't bashing or anything

I got the backflip lp's on my kraton handle 6s ok. Had to reglue couple spots now rips on 6s
I had to reglue the stock tires.. Lol
Will the outcast 4s body fit on the granite? Should have went with the Arrma electronics. They’re dirt cheap at jennysrc

I should get a long wheelbase Arrma 4x4 to compare, as both mine are the short chassis version. You can put the 1/8 scale shocks on your 4S Kraton, that may make it easier to love. :)
@@netcruzer I've put a new slipper clutch in it, new rear diff, and new rear driveshafts on order. I'm going to give it one last try.

The Outcast is basically a beefed up granite they share the same chassis so I think 3s in the granite is the sweet spot. 40+ mph, wheelies on demand and handles mu h better than on 4s.
Hey. Did you run the Outcast on the stock esc setting? Looking at getting one but I would probably change the esc setting to number 5.
Yes I kept ESC at stock.

ive got plenty of nice and planted trucks (2 tekno truggies) so i feel the outcast 4s is different enough for me to be worth it! also how close are you to québec's border? i was surprised to hear french!
Does the outcast have more ride height?
It has bigger tires and longer shocks, so yes it does.

Maybe.. I didn't because I already own a Kraton 6S. I likely should get a Big Rock 4x4 / Typhon 4x4 / Senton 4x4 to compare long wheelbase to short.
The longer wheel base are more stable you can wheelie when you desire to while thhe shorter ones are unpredictable

The maxx is also like 550 dollars plus the cost of the widemax kit... the granite 3s blx is 299 and the outcast 4s is 399
Yeah! The rip off Maxx. Should have came with a wider wheel base, but of course Traxxas wants you to spend even more money to keep it planted when should have been from the factory. Oh yeah...buy our Traxxas batteries and charger also...forget that. I bought a Granite and i love it! Arrma all the way!
