to > Zoran Radakovic - good precise Taijutsu and Demo. thank you for putting this on and thus helping others' pupils of the art.

I am not a martial arts practicioner but am curious what the difference is between Bujinkan and Taijuitisu ? I know that they both orginate from Jui-juitus and became the foundation of Ninpo but I realize that they split but how are they different?

Bujinkan is the name of the umbrella organization of the nine ryuha represented within. Taijutsu is the study of body movements/mechanics.

@@roberthunter5119 oh so what are the nine disciplines under the Bujinkan umbrella? I guess Taijuitisu is one of them

Actually, taijutsu is not a separate school of study, but the essential mechanics to perform the arts. Here's a link to a pretty good description of the nine ryuha within the Bujinkan.

@@stephenrennie9675 taijutsu is a skill to perform diferent kinds of combat aplications... the nine "disciplines" are actually 6 samurai and 3 ninja "schools" that where integrated in one in the 70´s by soke maasaki hatsumi who founded bujinkan in honor of Takamatsu sensei he´s teahcer.

First things first, I am not your brother. ;) Secondly this video is more than 5 years old but I still use the basic form I got in Japan from my teacher and Someya Sensei. The outer form differs from teacher to teacher, depending who you train with. Therefore you can't call it wrong. ;) I wish you all the best on your own way of budo.

Sad that Hatsumi minions are still teaching this technique this way. The Techniques do work, but they need to be changed.
