- More sweet soothing railings with the Rorsch MK-4 for your visual and audio pleasure. No pilots were harmed in the making of this video pilots.
Speaking on the content for Season 5 of Battlefield 2042 it seems like they are trying to bring back a lot of things from a bunch of different previous Battlefield games. AT grenades from BF1, thermals for vehicles from BF3/BF4, stationary AA on the map that when destroyed probably doesn't respawn after a few minutes so BF1/BFV stationary map AA which was useless.
The new map called Reclaimed looks like a mix of a few maps. One of the objectives has warehouses next to each other with layouts that remind me of the center objective on Firestorm while other parts look similar to Zavod. The bunker parts from some of the DLC maps late into BF4's lifespan.
New weapons are the:
XCE BAR - Sniper Rifle
GEW-46 - BF4 G36 Assault Rifle
BFP.50 - Deagle
Not overly concerned or worried about all the new grenade types other than the AT grenade. I'm more annoyed that it looks like a lot of the Season 5 weapon skins/cosmetics include the suppressor as part of them but no one will run those since they nerfed the damage specifically for them. So it's like look how cool these could be but never will be. They really need to undo that nerf, it didn't even make sense for the normal suppressor since it didn't keep you off the mini-map if you were in close range.
Similar to when I ran around using only the SWS or DXR or GVT, this is kind of leftover footage.

I always feel inspired to use the railgun after watching one of your videos... then quickly uninspired when I actually try using it myself. haha
Ok guys, the secret sauce, is that scope.
I can't describe it, but that scope, the regular 6x, makes this gun stupid OP. I've used the 12x, thermals, etc, but there's something about this particular scope on the railgun that makes it feel 10x better.
Literally swapped to it in my matches today and was pulling clips like this guy instantly. I have no idea what kind of witch craft it is, but it makes hitting headshots SO much easier.

you snipe from afar, burst in medium, and auto fire at cqc. hitscan no dropoff, and all ranges can damage vehicles 👌👌

I still get killed more times by the M4A3, but apparently those suppressors on sniper rifles and faster ADS times for 8x scopes are OP because a handful of players know how to use them. Even now with the people complaining about the RM-68 (That is very good indeed), M5A3 kills me more than the new weapons. Of course i'm only one player but i would be very curious to see their data. Like the nerf to the GVT was bullshit. Was literally because you use it. No one else.

What is easiest way to get this unlocked? I've got 205 damage already but I don't remember how I got it plus the underbarrel grenade launcher bounces off of stuff.
The scar grenade launcher counts towards it and just use the HE rounds and keeps using it til you get good at it man you’ll unlock it

@@BenaresDarkness It's called the SFAR-M, and the GL only bounces off stuff if you fire it too close.
I think the gun you are thinking of is the M16A3, since that is the only gun I can think of with a gap on the top (carry handle iron sight).
I play on Xbox and I have cross platform on, the way you just point and click sending these poor bastards to the spawn area makes me laugh and scared at the same time 🤣🤣so this is how PC player just delete my specialist 😒😒 thanks for great content

Not really since it's not on by default and the players that would react aren't the ones that would be aware that it exists now and that they need to turn it on.
Ravic have you ever tried sniping using a controller? Do you think its easier to snipe with mouse? I might have to get myself a PC to unlock my full sniping potential.
Give pc a shot. Like when I snipe my mouse of course has buttons to change the DPI but I have one on the side that I have set to a low DPI for sniping so I can make small adjustments at long distance.
the rosch is unusable on controller beacuse the idle sway is too aggressive i got tier 1 with and i still miss alot of shots beacause the gun moves like a few pixels before the shot go out

I don't know how you shoot the pilots out of hind. I played Squid G map this weekend and always hind in the air. I bet I shot at pilot well over 50 times and never hit one. Granted, I am not as good as you, but I'm not horrible. I can take out infantry. I use the 4.5 scope (most of the time) because it has no glint so I don't have to worry about being spotted. Is there any advice you can give on taking out pilots ?
It can often depend on your latency or the pilot's latency. High latency pilots or console pilots on wifi are near impossible to hit unless they stop for a second which they never do so they end up being near invulnerable to bullets because their infantry hitbox is lagging far behind their player model ( see here example: th-cam.com/video/QDebHGyvsHQ/w-d-xo.html ). Waiting for them to settle near a flag/objective to try and capture is usually the best time to snipe them out. If they are constantly moving try waiting for when they reaching an apex to their motion, like if they are going up and down wait for them to get near the top of their motion before shifting down, that is when I'd try to shoot them as it would likely swing their player hitbox so you can actually hit them instead of hitting their player model and getting nothing. If you have high ping you might need to aim behind them.
@@Ravic Thanks for taking the time for the detailed response! I play on PC via Ethernet cable. I was surprised to see you shoot pilots out of Hinds. From my experience, I presumed they had bullet proof glass and stopped trying. You know when you shoot a Volte driver you can tell you are hitting the driver. (Which in future update they are changing to bullet proof glass.) When I shoot the Hind I always get vehicle damage. So that is why I thought that. What you are saying all makes sense. I'll try these techniques. Thanks for sharing!

There once was a time irl when infantry if spotted could see a gun flash and physics being what they are, have a second to duck or have a chance.
Once superconductivity is cracked properly along with a descent rail material this will no longer be. If you see the flash and it's lined up? It's lights out right after the flash even at distance 😮

Why is it that every time someone plays sniper in a video like this the enemies literally stand still or run straight towards them but when I play sniper they run like a maniac and change directions every 0.0005 seconds? Are they paid actors?
How in the world do u spot? I tried spottin like i do in BF4 and it ends up placin a marker. Does the game not let u spam the spot button?
Aim at an enemy and press Q once. Literally auto spots it. Try actually aiming properly maybe instead of mindlessly double spamming Q which just pings lol

@@joshphillips5620 Go into the mode with bots in order to unlock most of the weapons. There were certain actions in order to unlock every weapon.

Which Battlefield did you feel has both the best feeling and balanced shotgun gameplay?
BF4. Granted that may be biased because that game has more hours than every other game after it combined. Still love using the UTS and Remington
I would say BF1 outside of the Model 10A that plagued the game forever. BF4 had the 870 and some of the spammy semi autos like the Saiga were ridiculous.

BF4 because long range kills with buckshot ( like in most of my 870 videos ) required you to ADS, that meant no excessive ADAD strafing or hipfiring across the room. You were more vulnerable because you had to basically full stop, ADS, fire and then keep going.

Thermals on the Tanks it had to happen. Why they still feel they need more of a crutch is beyond me. Exited for that new Sniper Rav, slow rate of fire, slow ADS we winning

no bullet drop on this weapon?
There is it's just such a high muzzle velocity that bullet drop doesn't really kick in until 600+ meters.
First off, the zoom in and out almost calibration to watch squirrel girl @40 seconds to get a headshot amazes me.
Secondly regarding the damage nerf on the 6KU suppressor. For primary weapons it's still the .92 damage nerf. Secondary weapon 6KU suppressors nerf it down to .90. Go figure.
The difference is that they changed the headshot multiplier. 3x instead of 4x. Wrapped suppressors don't alter the damage at all, but it does carry a 15% reduction in velocity (If something is flying at 600m/s, it drops it to 510m/s).
Speaking of the unsuppressed 45-70 specifically - 60 max damage out to 150m and then drops to 35. 6KU Suppressed drops it to 55.2 out to 150, then down to 32.2, making the headshot hit at 96.6.
I'm still working my way through all the weapons, only having the assault rifles and SMGs left.
The nerf to 6KU suppressors does more than that. It makes what would normally be a one shot to the head at any range with the SWS and DXR no longer one shot when using subsonic rounds and armor piercing rounds respectively. It's an especially dumb nerf to the GVT since I was one of the few people who ran that loadout and the only reason I did was because the gun looked goofy with a giant 6x scope and no suppressor. Also the wrapped suppressor just looks awful on every gun. Someone at DICE went out of their way to screw over a specific attachment that was already rarely used by the vast majority of players.
@@Ravic I was pretty sure the 6KU damage has always been .92 as far as I can tell. The 45-70 and snipers all used to have a 4x headshot multiplier, which is no longer the case.
STILL, 100% stupid on Dice's part as you said, as it only affected the players who did use the 6KU. (I don't know if I've come across anyone else using the 45-70 6KU honestly)

@@Mzerron I'm just stating it didn't used to be like that. At launch it was bugged entirely but didn't affect the headshot damage or not enough to remove the one shot to the head ability of the GVT and bolt-action sniper rifles. That bugged version basically knocked off a chunk of damage depending on the distance between you and the target. So with the SWS or DXR under 10 meters it would result in 99% damage to body shots ( this was before when bolt-actions could one shot to the body ), take of the 6KU and it would do 100% damage under 10 meters to the body, at longer distances the reduced damage to the body became quite noticeable vs non-suppressed shots. Then they fixed that bug and the 6KU only did what it's negative stats said it would do, reduce the max damage drop off range ( didn't affect headshot one shot ability ). Then many months later they changed it to what it is now ( you can basically use all my GVT videos as a timeline ), I believe it was sometime around Season 3's introduction or the update changes for it. The reasoning for why from DICE is quite dumb in reality vs on paper, it was along the lines of the 1 headshot kill is a super strong bonus so adding additional effects to that ( suppressors effects.. ) creates a snowball effect.

Ope, I misunderstood. Yeah, you're right! I'm nearly certain that the sniper rifles and Govt used to be 110 damage up close unsuppressed and something like 101 suppressed in season 2 and I think it was just a straight 110 in season 1. (Not 100% sure, but the suppressors were mega bugged then)
You're definitely right about the timeline too - definitely in season 3. Your videos do prove it!

@@dinglo23 I mean the muzzle velocities for the normal bolt-action sniper rifles is pretty slow compared to some previous Battlefield games depending on which Battlefield game those players came from. It's weird that they aren't faster simply because of the muzzle velocities of other weapon categories in BF2042 ( assault rifles, marksman rifles ). I would prefer the bolt-action sniper rifles in the game had higher default muzzle velocities where attachments would then have the possible effect of slowing down the muzzle velocity instead of this weapon existing in the game. It's basically a workaround for players to use for issues in the game that DICE can't fix.
@@Ravic wouldnt be as bad if it wasn't a fast fire rate like the one in BF4 , be a good trade off. Don't know why they went that rout, basically a DMR with very little drop if any, even if you don't get a headshot by time you realise youv been tickled, it's too late to dondgd the follow up. Even worse if your gettin headshotted off a accurate player such as yourself. anyway, Dice rolled with it.

Ive never played a game before, so take this with a grain of salt:
Maybe the 5-round burst could be useful for taking down enemy vehicles, ground or air. And then switch back to the semi-auto module once that's finished, to continue fucking up players and making them rage.

If you completed *both* objectives for the assignment then it should be unlocked. Are you looking in the correct weapon category? It should be on the far right with the Crossbow and other odd weapons.
@@Ravic yes I did, but I heard you had to do it during some kind of season or promotion they had going on…and I found out about it afterwards so I may have been late… I forget the exact exact requirements, if I remember correctly, one of them was destroy 10 vehicles with the 50, and I forget the other one, but I did it, however, no I did not check where the crossbow is at… I usually play portal because I like the one shot one kill, honestly, I just find the game to be so far from battlefield 4 which I feel like they absolutely perfected in every way, and the skill ceiling was incredibly high, you could not just pick that game up and play it for a couple weeks and be a good player it took a lot of practice which made it challenging and more appealing to people that like challenge. The first time I played 2042 I think I had like 55 kills and only died twice…. And I’m pretty sure I’ve seen your content on TH-cam for bf4 right? You play with silk, jackfrags, rangerdave right?
