Stu! I love the fact that you took the time & effort to make this video to educate people about scammers! This is actually a work of art! I think the only thing I’d change is underlining the word “WORTHLESS”. I hope this video helps save people in the future from being scammed!!! Excellent job!!! Blessings! 😊🙏❤️
Great episode as usual ❤ that was kinda cool listing those items to make people aware, very good idea! A level of scamming i see very often and its rarely talked about, is i see a bunch of dealers on ebay specifically, they will buy notes on ebay, clean the notes and then try and sell them for more. And some of these dealers have 10's of 1000's of feedback, so they have the audience and they do take advantage of that. I have a keen eye, and nose and i can tell when they wash these notes. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if they bought them and sold them as they were, but to clean them and then say they are AU, its not fair to people that just dont know. Its just pretty scammy in my eyes. Again great esposide!
Because you are a collector of note: The buyer of these items could call them the worthless collection assembled by you. So, it follows that the collections value, if they remain intact could grow in perpetuity as your prowess grows as an authority. Hard to imagine, but the artist is that last to know how rare his smears of paint really are.
Makes me wish that I had the ability to manufacture a Whitman-like folder for currency. It would be something like Fun and Savings with Serial Numbers and common issues in currency. The folder would list things like Quads, Trinaries, Broken Ladders, Where's George, teller stamps, etc. If someone filled in every space with a $1, they would have saved $100. I would make it clear that what this folder is for is to educate people on some cool looking things on currency, that really doesn't make it worth more than face value, but if you save these, you could bolster your savings account, or purchase a bill that actually is worth something.
@@collectingonthecheap56353 Yup, collect what you like. There are so many neat things circulating. But that doesn’t make them valuable. Always have fun but don’t get ripped off.👍
@@KendallKiddComix At the beginning of the "Duke's of Hazard " there was a pair of hands playing a guitar. That very guitar of all the guitars gained valued by who held it on TV. There is some deception here. To know, and explicitly express that these notes are worthless as a warning for the uneducated novice in the Numismatic community. is a noble thing to do. But. There Should be some legal ramification when you accept the money……..
@@jevan40 Why? There are thousands of listings for these items. I am the only one TELLING you they are worthless. How does that make me the bad guy? There absolutely should be legal repercussions for those who falsely claim these have value. I am not deceiving anyone. I’m being forthright. Every other person attempting to sell these as rare and valuable is deceiving people.
The difference is. You are telling us they are worthless in the effort to deter a purchase. When you receive compensation for this information, that’s where the illegal ramifications should be applied….
@@jevan40 So you think it’s illegal for me to tell people it’s worthless and sell it anyway but it’s perfectly fine for others to lie about value and not have any consequences? That is 100% backwards.
For all those people who are ripping on you, shame on them. However, in the description, they should be listed as being worth face value only. How about just charging for shipping. Only then will they realize that they basically scammed themselves. I realize that some people are stupid and would buy them anyway, or are greedy and would try to resell them, but some life lessons cost $$ to learn. Great content, Keep on educating the uninformed.

Interesting approach. Nice that you are trying to educate people. 👍

@@RobertWojcikowski Oh believe me. If any of these sell, there will be a video!

Is there a chance of a video about grading and cost of grading bills?
@@williamgiron2128 I grade very few notes but I did do a video about it.
