I just LOVE this woman! Heard this series way back & listen to it whenever i feel down because shes so funny Her anecdotes, recollections of the past we all remember & how funny they are in retrospect Shes like a female Ozzy Billy Connelly Her mother's character is hilarious & her Grandma Shirley is adorable & is the Gran we all wish we had ( luckily i had an amazing Grannie too) Her story of her missing the school bus one morning is so so funny & it creases me up every time. I never get tired of this Trilogy Ever! Although im Brit, i did spend my adolescent years in NSW in Australia, just north of Sydney in a place called Dolls Point. So her school memories are so poingnant for me, that was 50 yrs ago but those years were just the best! Here in UK id been in small selective private schools, lead a traditional mid upper class life Then my parents moved to Aussie To live near Dads relatives when i was 11yrs old & for me it was a huge culture shock & the best thing that ever happened to me The amazing life style, the brilliant weather, the huge school i joined with large classes The fantastic friendly teacher-pupil learning which was so phenomenal to me & i think boosted my education 10 fold The genuine happy friendly school chums, the social scene the food, everything! Alas i came back to UK aged almost 18yrs & i wish id had the courage to have stayed but these were the very early 1970s & things were different then & i obeyed my parents & came home So Sarahs reminiscences are wonderful for me now in my 60s Thank the heavens for people like Sarah Kendall 😆💟
Love her observations.. I'd never heard of her before I'd heard this on radio.. Really good.
