Honestly great advice about the gems! I hoarded gems for Count thunder both times it was released and was able to get him up to SS+ with a 1* exclusive weapon after the last event ended. Another great way to get gems (at least for one time only) is to keep challenging the Realm Conquerer mode and get to the highest floors you can! Plus as an added bonus you'll passively collect more red orbs needed for upgrades! Just remember to collect around every 12 hours and it'll add up quickly.
Another tip for f2p players from me if you want a new character sure try to get him but only once stack up gems after for reruns so you get the discounted banners and dont waste gems on wpn vault just use breakers

I started by rerolling for EJ on his last day, dominated my server group rankings, got CT to Ex and next rerun prolly gonna get EJ to SS. And I started litterally when EJ had his rerun. Tho I did pay for some things, just not much, the passes and subs. If I just wanted EJ I wouldn't have to pay for anything.

Also, all supports, but for example destined exe where you're helping noone cause there's no ice damager on the team. I get my responcibility as a whale, but a free to play also has a responcibility to not make stupid decisions and listen to the whales - if they build supports only then it's no surprise they get kicked out of DMD raid

Tbh as f2P player it make you addicted to play this game and if you spend money to EX character it will make you fed up because it makes the game easier and boring sometimes
