There will be one more on white mountain soon(we exciton). I returned my gray one, it’s still shipping back right now. It’s 100% perfect no lock stick, rock, or anything of the sort. Locks up like a rock.
For me it’s just not super stable in my hand. It gets very thin towards the end of it. I found myself almost dropping it a few times because of that. I wish I’d was shaped more like the empedc ronin in that regard.
On another note the PMP Kodiak will be delivered to me tomorrow!!! Excited to check it out!
Don’t know why none of you main guys have covered the SOC V4 that’s why I returned my WE exciton. I’m getting some more V4s and mokume inlays etc clip backspacer probably the zircuti as well.

Jared, I am curious as to how you became a felon, but mostly just to appreciate the comeback story.
You are at the top in a great community and so many people I bet wouldn’t actually be in the community without you, I can attest to that. I understand you had addiction issues in the past and came back from those struggles which makes me appreciate where you are at today even more.
So I’d like to here what happened in the past, to see inspiration for coming back and doing better.

Jerad you are without a doubt THE knife guy to watch. You have incredible taste in knives, you are an expert sharpener, and you share all of your knowledge without hesitation. You are honest and open which appeals to everyone because a lot of people can relate to you and feel for you. Do what you want with your content and make yourself happy with what you’re doing and we will all be here no matter what and enjoying every second of it!

I really appreciate you being transparent with us and telling us you messed up. I'd honestly love to hear about it. We all make mistakes but I still think the world of you dude. Please make a video on that because a lot of us can relate I promise.
Hell, how many of use have taken a pill prescribed to someone else or have given something like a painkiller to a friend in need/great pain? That is a felony. So many are felonious, just not caught. Considering how opioids have become impossible to get prescribed these day (unless you are on older woman maybe) the situation arises a lot. When something is legally wrong but morally right, well if we believe we will get away with it we will do it. Cops, Judges, Governors all the same. So no one should be throwing stones... although that is what a judge's job is. Well technically it is the jury which is actually fair aka isn’t dependent on one person's mood but it doesn’t always work out that way. Judges really have too much power. Now giving a judge the finger iis wrong andd you are stupid to do so, it still shouldn’t double or triple your punishment . I mean, that is freedom of speech... which evidently stops at the gate of a court. The job encourages people to powertrip and discriminate. Woman are given lighter sentences for the same crime, black people given more than white although they are trying to swap that around right now by forcing race to be considered in sentencing... the idea being how it is impossible to be colorblind so we might as well regulate the racial dependent treatment.

As far as your story,if you feel it could help people then I say do it. I struggle with a problem nobody really know about and love when people talk about their past because it helps me open up more about myself

Please share your story brother Jared! I have a a sorted past as well. A history with jail time and addiction. Your channel. Your honesty and openness about your past. It definitely helps me stay clean/sober, and out of trouble! Im sure there are so many people with a history similar, or maybe even still living that life that need to here your story. Yo neeves your video about lock rock and adjusted detents saved my ass! I got in a Eklipse 3.0 Friday and it had a lot of up and down play and I debated on sending it back but I watched your video and added a little lock bar pressure and it completely went away. I’m a big Hinderer fan so I’m not gonna lie I was a little butt hurt lol! Your videos are the best man. Great video. The Ziffius is such a drop dead gorgeous knife. Scored the black handle/blue lightning 20CV satin blade variant and it was the greatest knife unboxing experience I've ever had. The WOW factor of everything about that knife in hand is so off the charts I just had to have the black/blue lightning Hakkapella Damasteel variant too. It's a total stunner, and admiring and handling them over a hot cup of coffee never gets old.
4 and 5 were my favorite. I'd choose the purple and black on 4 as well. What gorgeous knives.

I think what makes people become more connected with influencers is the influencers being transparent about themselves and being real and honest. Excellent list. The best I have seen so far for sure. That's not surprising considering this is your list, Jerad. Most of the heavy hitters have been released for the year. After the next 90 days or so the remaining 2023 knives will be released and then onto next year.

The Nine has got staying power. A beautiful unique looking knife, high quality that you can feel, with incredible action and ergonomics.
Hear you big time!! Asking which is my favourite knife is like asking about my favourite child. Also agree that people need to be more specific - my favourite camp knife is very different to my favourite gents knife. Great list with great commentary - really good real life user info helps me make more informed purchases. FYI it's the Chaves for me - his designs really connect with me so I don't mind spending the $$$. Sharp blades all.

Oh wow, i didn’t expect the 9 at the number one spot. I love mine so much, the 9, ferrum forge archbishop 3.0, and Empedc nymbyl X v2 make up my top 3 favorite knives ever. But my manix 2 is creeping up on the Nymbal’s tail, made me fall in love w spyderco

I have a few of these, and want a few of them, lol. I finally got a WE Exciton headed my way. WE has released another run of just the one with the lightning strike ano, and I snagged one. As cool looking as it is though, I would rather have the version you have I think. I'll know for sure once I get it in hand. It's due in on Monday.

Just a heads up they still have new ziffius knives all over ebay. U could get an extra one to save and use the one u have. That is what I did with the sbd apex my favorite knife. Had a buddy knock down the clip better now but it didn't bother me that bad anyway. 😮
