PE put out a notice about this. They changed that o ring to a 14x2 instead of whatever it was at first. Problem solved. Can't believe the guy didn't look this up.
You're suppose to replace the 16 oring with a 14x2 oring. Also, wouldn't it be cheaper if you guys bought the guns from planet eclipse raw so you wouldn't have to strip the old anno off?
For anyone struggling with the tiny o-ring, I have an easy way to do it. You need a pick that won't damage the o-ring but can press against the o-ring and a pencil. Insert the tiny o-ring from the larger end of the reg body. Push it up to where the entire o-ring is now in the thinner part of the reg body. Stick the pencil, eraser first, into the larger end of the reg body and hold it firmly. Flip the reg body over so you can see the o-ring inside the thinner part of the reg body and use your pick to press the o-ring down. Since the eraser is blocking the way, the o-ring will seat itself with a little pressing. You guys can thank me later.
Fairly new to the sport, bought a used gun and after using 4,5x there’s a leak by the trigger… anyone know what might be? Or a price of how much I’m expecting to pay to get it fix at a shop. Thanks
Correct me if i am worng, but i did anodizing myself on couple of cheap/old/broken paintball guns, just try anodizing for my self, becasue i had already the setup and chemicals for it. But back to the anodizing layes / colors, out of my expirience, you had to anodize one part multiple times if it is gonna be a multi colored part, becasue after you remove color, you remove to some grade the hard Aluminum layer whitch takes the color inside the pores... after you get first color on the part, you put the sticker or mask the part where the color should stay, and put it back in to chemicals to remove color where it should not be, and you do it so many times, how many colors you need. I dont understand one thing, why there are so many colors on the ASA and reg, even if there are only 2 colors on the frame? And one more thing, if you dont place right or turn your parts while anodizing, you get bad anodized spots like here on the ASA, worst part for me are the threads, becasue, raw aluminium or bad anodized threads will wear out very quickly, best Ano is in my opinion is factory one.
Im with your two takes from this. Clean your $hit and Maintain your $hit. It doesnt matter what who makes your marker or how nice it is they all will evetually fail if you dont maintain it.
Good looking haircut looks like he might be in Netflix movie great show once again guys if it the new deadly wind s Vale and custom trigger I would probably shoot faster than just saying
What the video doesn’t tell you though is the owner of the gun and multiple techs fixed this problem a couple times before yet it only lasted a few games before going Oppenheimer again
Finally a Tech Talk! Please, please don't wait a year to do another one. Keep these coming regularly, great stuff.
The o ring change on the reg is a known issue for PE. Was talked about in another YT channel with Jack Wood.
Jack wood recommends using a 14x2 oring for leaking asa’s.
I use a brass pick so I don’t scratch or gouge the metal when removing o-rings.
Glad to see another Tech Talk coming out!👍

blows my mind someone will spend $1800+ on a paintball gun and they nothing about them.
What is this tank reg? Will it be available soon?
Im with your two takes from this.

If dirty grips mean the gun leaks then I’m in big trouble!!!

If you own an $1800 marker and can't fix the leak, then maybe you shouldn't own one. These markers are made to be repaired easily.
I believe that is under warranty. If I have paid 2k for the CS3 Dust Fett, I would like to have it fixed for free........

@@ctav8327 breh, can I borrow a few bucks? 2gs for a marker? good lord fam, you must be rich asf
