Hi Robert, I chamfer the corners of the detail marker box with a suitable radius. It does add nodes where the curve meets the straight border (so you don’t want to make it too large to begin with or you’ll have nodes left at the old radius corners if you make the radius tighter).
Hi Robert, thank for your hard work. I always have problens with this interior views, mostly in the floor plans, I mean your way to do it can solve some problems, but will create other problems, when I want to add all the dimensions of one bathroom, and I want them to be outside the bathroom to keep a clean plan, they will be over another room of the plan and it is always ones over the other unless we go the extra mile and create a set of layer combination for each view/room, and that is not a solution. For me, the marker would be the best solution if there was an option to keep it in 3D, only cuted from the floor plan. Would you agree? Once again, thanks.
It might be helpful to point out the final step which is making the 'source marker' a 'linked maker'. Choose one of the detailed plans from the menu of placed views available to link to.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm hoping to be able to produce more free tutorials on this, as well as producing more professional content. As I'm sure you can appreciate, it's largely dependant on having the financial support from my viewing community

I still don't know why ...?
