You are so right about knobs with Hobby Lobby. They are ridicules. They even glue the screws into some of them. I hate them & refuse to buy from them after that project.
Struggling with a knob got frustrated still haven’t finished my project. I’m thinking I can take a hacksaw to cut the threads down with the knob held in a vice. Of course you may have to file any thread(s) that didn’t get cut. Maybe I didn’t use the correct terminology but you get the jist.
Its been a while but I think I held it in a vise & finally came loose. I was so tempted to bring back to HL & have them figure out how to get screws out. I emailed the company but they said that's how they come.

Oh my I LOVE these. I have too large rectangular shaped door from my new cabinets because they were supposed to be glass doors! They are white and measure 16 by 40 inches……..wow…..what can I make with those! Thanks for another great share! ❤️

I’ve been trying to come up with a saying that describes that feeling of warmth and peace you feel when you get home from a long day. I want to hang it on the wall just inside the door we use so it’s the first thing we see. I’ve toyed around with “Relax! This may seem like a stupid question, but how do you actually hang them on the wall with those types of hangers? In the past, I always went to Michaels or Hobby Lobby and had hanging wires put on, but I recently bought a couple heavier wall hangings from Kirklands and when I called Hobby Lobby about getting a hanging wire, I was told that if the hooks are already placed on an item, that means that its structurally not strong enough to use a hanging wire, which I noticed on many websites, items will actually state to NOT use a hanging wire. However, now I’m confused what to use on the walls to hang items…regular nails or picture hanging wall nails/hardware.
I drug abt 20 cabinet doors on our cross country move. Hubby and son were like “WHY?!” I’ve still yet to make anything with them tho because most of them are large/long heavy oak doors. Suggestions?

Hello, I have completed three wood rounds and on each one the spar urethane has smeared my words, do you have any suggestions please?
Hello 👋 try spraying a light coat of clear matte spray paint by Rustoleum over it then apply your urethane. That should do the trick
